Why?

Although I'm no expert, I leant to use paint. what I do is going to Image, then stretch/strew, and you choose in how many percents you cut - it doesn't cut the picture, it only akes smmaller.
If you want to check how many pixels the picture is, go to Image and Attributes.

I don't know why Radagast. I can make the image super tiny by doing the stretch/skew thing, but the pixels are around 1000. I don't really understand it.

You can also use Microsoft Paint to resize pictures. (The Entmoot max is 60x60 pixels.) In Paint, you can see how big the picture is in the bottom right-hand corner, but only when you're resizing it manually.

In the "Image" menu, you can also use the "Stretch/Skew..." function to resize.

You'll lose detail making a picture smaller, but sometimes it works out anyway. You might also have to crop bits off. That's how I made my avatar.

I don't know if it's easily downloadable as I have never tried to, but Adobe Image Ready is very easy to use to crate moving avatars.

Um.. yeah that's what I meant. I guess I wasn't concentrating enough on what I was typing and typed messages instead of images.
