Thoght I'd pop in for a nice afternoon glass of wine. I just picked up this bottle of Cab Sauv from south-eastern australia - that is to say, I bought it at a store here in L.A., but the wine's been imprted from Australia ... anybody else care for a drop? and there's still some magic cake in the fridge from yesterday. It turned out to be dark chocolate 4-layered cake with this creamy mocha sort of filling/frosting. Tastes damn good with Cab Sauv.

Well, talk to you later . I'm actually going to bed now. I only got five to six hours sleep each of the last few nights, so I'm wiped out.

Hey, I found a way to get rid of hiccups. I was thinking that when I forget about them, they go away, and are therefore related to what I'm thinking. So I tried really hard to just concentrate on not hiccuping, intense concentration here. It worked perfectly, not a single hiccup once I started. Then one day I thought I had lost it- it didn't work at all. But since then, I have had one sucessful incident and no further escaping hiccups.

Hey, Katya, how are ya? Mind over matter can really work, it's true what you say about conquering hiccups that way. Shows you've got a naturally strong mind. The same sort of strength which makes it impossible for anyone to hypnotise you.

Man o man, I think I need to get out of the house today & go to the beach or something. I'm getting dangerously addicted to entmoot as of late; plus it's a gorgeous day today.
Ah, well.

I am a nihilist though, so it's bound to happen. For the most part, I try to ignore it. But my psychologist has an interesting theory that says in spite of my lacklustre attempt to live as if there was some fundamental existential meaning--or when not actively trying to counteract the nihilism (i.e. ignoring it and getting caught up in existence)--the nihilism serves as a subconcious influence on my psyche and hence physiology.
