Carafin was right... Legolas and Gimli waiting at Helm's Deep (by the way, TTT was my fave of the series)
THIS SHOULD BE VERY EASY!!! Little guy and lucky friends travel 'til they meet their ends Bear and helpful dude they meet Many an arachnid they defeat. At the end they get their dues little guy goes home and his rep he does lose. Th emoral of this story (though it wouldn't be if it weren't) Never laugh at live dragons (Unless you want to get burnt) I would like names (not for the lucky friends necessarily, but tell em who they are)

*ahem*
Bilbo and the dwarves: Balin, Dwalin, Oin, Gloin, Nori, Ori, Fili, Kili, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, and Thorin Oakenshield. They travel along many paths, meet Beorn (the were-bear!) and mother helpful people, like Elrond. They, or at least Bilbo, kill the giant spiders of Mirkwood. At the end they regain their treasure and Bilbo goes home with a share, and loses his reputation as a nice, stolid young hobbits and gains a rep as the weirdo of Bag End. ![]() i.e., the story of the Hobbit. *grins* Want any more? ![]() -tano

Christiana, 'Gtg' is short for 'Got to go.'
Also, both of the 3 Worder threads (old and new) were/are longer than this one.
