No - the correct spelling is actually 'judgment' - that threw me recently when I was typing something in word and it kept showing up as mis-spelled when I used the extra 'e'!

I can't get this "/_u_r_/" word myself though!

Is it? Then I really need to throw my dictionary away, it's not its first mistake. Heh, I checked in another one - both of my dictionaries then.

oh, weird - I thought it was "judgement", too, and I"m a pretty darn good speller!

OK, I've had a break from the Quote game for awhile, and I'm ready to jump back in! Let's have a new one, twista!

After what Rad wrote, I had to check. My online source showed 'judgement' as an acceptable alternate spelling - but the proper spelling seems to be the 'judgment' one... and my Word program kept doing the red underlines whenever I had the extra 'e' in it!

Yes Twista... give us a quote!

Actually, Rad, you were right. My copy of the UT used "judgement" instead. That's what threw me... I was always taught that it was "judgment".

Either one is correct, according to both what I've learned and my dictionaries. Apparently, it isn't universally used one way or another - not even in different editions of UT.
