I did flame JD with the exception of one post that I recall, and I flamed a multiple of times and changing his avatar was a hoot! ... As an administrator, it is my job to bla, bla, bla. JD frankly made that impossible to do. I could have closed the thread, but Hobbit and I felt that by leaving it open, it would give me a chance to show JD who's boss (since I rule with an iron fist), therefore, he is now banned. His banning has actually a way for me to get revenge on the lowly users of this board. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Actually, I just meant that if you had ignored him, I think he would have calmed down from whatever was crawling up his butt. And sorry to be so critical, again, but I think you probably shouldn't have participated in it. Just my thoughts. But then again, why listen to me?

No, ignorant people like him must be dealt with. You must show them who's in charge and that their behaviour is unacceptable. JD had his change to redeem himself and he didn't take it. Let him be banned for a while

Give me a break. I have been more fair to him in the past, and in this thread than he deserves. He wouldn't have calmed down. He would have jumped on the very next poster that came along and disagreed with him. I didn't push his buttons. He doesn't know when to quit, and that is his problem. It's my job to deal with posters when they don't know when to quit. If you review the thread, you will see that I told him several times to stop. And, FYI, it is my job to assert the authority of an admin. What would you have me do, sit there and just let everyone say whatever they wish and do as they please? That's what unmoderated boards are for.

For those of you that were not here for "freddie" there are some threads in the archives about it. Tater, who co-owned the Tolkientrail with Ben and who was a very well loved/hated admin was banned from Entmoot by freddie, who was a new comer. this was after tater was demoted to moderator. Many of the Mooters became upset with his ban and formed a revolt, but before they could carry it out, tater posted telling them that he was behind the whole thing. Tater banned tater.

Thanks again for the bday wish, but are you kidding me? Calling them cry babies which is what they were being, is hardly comparable to the flames and foul language that I had to edit and delete, not to mention the ongoing violations of the posting policies.
