Ok, I have a riddle to you, if someone is still interested...
You need to put 1-12, one number over each line, so that the outcome of every 4 numbers in the... errr... bigger lines, would be equal everywhere. (this is obviously wrong.) (I think there's more than one right solution) Edit - it doesn't work well. ![]() In entmoot, I guess that if you put blanks it automtically writes it in the side. Never mind... Okay.
0 divided by 0 equals? If anything divided by 0 is infinity and anything divided by itself is 1... which of these rules finds its exception in 0/0? (Sorry RtB, I didn't really understand...)

Ok... you see the attachment file in this post? You need to put the numbers, from 1-12, like the picture shows, so that every 4 numbers in line would be equal to the other lines.

Some things that I find interesting with this puzzle.
Notice how the number at the point is equal to the sum of the two number on the far side. (I only show a few numbers, but you could expand this to all 6 point numbers) Row 1:-------12 Row 2:-09--05--02--10 Row 3:---06------01 Row 4:-03--04--08--11 Row 5:-------07 Row 1:-------12 Row 2:-09--05--02--10 Row 3:---06------01 Row 4:-03--04--08--11 Row 5:-------07 Row 1:-------12 Row 2:-09--05--02--10 Row 3:---06------01 Row 4:-03--04--08--11 Row 5:-------07 Also notice how the triangle point numbers also equal 26. Except I got: 0's: 1 1's: 11 2's: 2 3's: 1 4's: 1 5's: 1 6's: 1 7's: 1 8's: 1 9's: 1 The stress of the puzzle was on individual figures, not their actual number.

Try this logic problem:
All people who live in village A always lie. All people who live in village B always tell the truth. You're lost in the woods and you need to find your way to village B. You find an old man in the woods. All you know about him is that he comes from either village A or B. You can only ask him one question. What question would enable you to find the way to village B for sure? |
