Because by now I've mentioned my love for Frodo so much that the whole world should know?

I wasn't answering. I was questioning your rhetorical question.

If don't think I could necessarily place myself in Middle Earth. I would have to be an 'elfit' (I cannot remember who coined that term) I suppose, because I show a lot of hobbity characteristics, but I personally think I can be downright elvish at times (not in terms of wisdom, necessarily, just...something). I think I'd be a wanderer though. I already have bad wanderlust.

FrodoFriend started the Elfit term. I just called my kind Elfin at first, but took on the name she gave them since it seemed to make more sense.

Really? You made it up? Eh. The first person I remember saying it then, was FF.

Nitpicky, nitpicky! I so KNEW you were going to say that! Allright then, FF gets the glory for the invention of the Elfit-term.

Hehe, sorry.
BTW - I see Elvit and realize it looks very close to Elvis. Isn't that cool? Last edited by Rána Eressëa : 09-12-2002 at 04:18 PM. |

I've always thought I'd like best to be a Gondorian soldier or similar man-at-arms...

I like the "elfit" idea! I've invented about 15 different characters for imagining purposes, and one of my favorites is Willow Baggins, Frodo's non-existant cousin. I think she would be classified as an elfit; hence, so would I! Yay!
*Does little dance around the room* I'ma eeelvit! I'ma eeelvit! *Suddenly realizes everyone is looking at her* Sorry..... Shadowfax, From the impression I get from your posts, I think you would be a charming young hobbit lass.

I would be Sauron's nagging Maia wife of many thousands of years.
"This tower is a mess. Tell the slaves to paint it." "The Nazgul will just have to meet you outside until they learn to wipe their feet." "Come on, I need SOME sunlight to see what I'm doing." "Will you stop playing with those palantiri and eat your dinner?" "I don't care who you have to torture, that's my brand new carving knife!" "Why do you have to wear that tattered old cloak every day when you have a whole closet full of perfectly good new cloaks?" "You've got to stop leaving your armor on the bathroom floor."
