erm... Well, my husband and I supposed for a while that it was our dog, but we now think that they just took our 10-day vacation as an opportunity to grow exponentially in our bathroom.

It's so very hopeless... they go away and you walk away with the feeling you got them all, and then you wake the next morning and there are more! RAR!

You might need to get an extermanator to get rid of the eggs and larvae. There's a heartworm medication that keeps flea eggs from hatching and kills the larvae. Doesn't kill the fleas, though. Takes a lot to kill the buggers

Thanks! My husband is currently in Pine-Sol mode. It's kind of funny at times, until we get tired of it not working, of course and then we get frustrated again.

Until you compleltly get rid of the eggs you'll still get the fleas. They're hard to get rid of...

Yeah... my husband let off another fogger today and when I got home, there were still little black specks that jumped away when you tried to touch them, though. So I Pine-Solled them.

Maybe if we get an exterminator fast, we won't have them anymore.

At least with fleas, there's something tangible to fight. I've moved into a new apartment, and there's a weird (not offensive, just permeate-y) smell that won't go away. Don't know where it's coming from, and burning candles & opening windows hasn't helped. Makes me cranky. ::grump::

Went to go see a production of the HMS Pinafore tonight, and it was wonderful.

The soprano did cartwheels and a splits while she was singing. It was awesome.

BTW, my sister's lived in the SF/Oakland area for 30 years, and says that if you want info about nature-y places to go, she can fill you in.

I remember when I was growing up in the LA area, we would go to the summer productions at Occidental College. Every summer, they did one Shakespeare and one Gilbert and Sullivan, plus whatever else. It gave me a permanent love of G&S (sorry to say the Bard is a distant second

). They were brilliant; absolutely brilliant. I can still picture the guy singing "Sisters and Cousins and Aunts" and the little wink and drinking pantomime he did with "and seek the seclusion that a cabin grants"

I can sing every song from Pinafore and Pirates.
