i think bombastic is that there was a lot of action, which detracts from the general plot of the film

So where are you located. EE versions seem to be worth it from what I've read. I bought the regular dvd's of the first two movies and vowed not to buy the regular of the last. Unfortunately it doesn't come out until 14th of Dec.

Actually... no.... It was better than I thought it was gonna be, but then my expectations were really low.

..This weekend is free preview on Direct TV, I'll be able to view 30 extra ppv channels and perhaps I'll have a couple of movies to report in future posts. This is the most channels they've offered for free all year. Usually it's ten or so and I can go a whole weekend without one worthy of taping. Wish me luck.

Saw "Taxi" in theatres two days ago. The new one just out with Jimmy Fallon, Queen Latifah and the sexy female bank robbers.

I went in with only mediocre expectations and came out in hysterics...much funnier than I expected...and the villains were EXTREMELY hot!

And Rian, in relation to the "new fish movie"...it is called "Shark's Tale" and stars Will Smith, Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Renee Zelwegger, Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, Ziggy Marley and Peter Falk. (Impressive cast to say the least...)

I didn't see it, but am told by kids and adults alike that it was great. However Nemo was still aknowleged by both parties as a better film.

And I saw Shrek 2...hilarious! (another impresive cast: Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Rupert Everett, Jennifer Saunders, Larry King, and Joan Rivers)
The LotR reference was unexpected and pretty funny. My personal favourite was the mermaid and the sharks, and the Pinnochio mission impossibe and Michael Jackson dance moves. And of course any cat owners would agree that Puss made that film.

LOL, must be a cold day in hell if we're agreeing on movies.

Are we still due bubba-hotep?? It's been out in the states for AGES, and I kept thinking that I must have missed it coming out over here. I hope it does, I really wanna see Bruce Campbell.

We've already got it up in Canada, maybe you need to check more independent movie stores, less the big chains...

Saw The Day After Tomorrow this monday.

Have this special grading system for movies:

- 100 (German movies, all people die.)

- 75 (French movies, some dies, some fall in love)

- 50 (Spanish movies, everybody has nervous breakdowns.)

- 25 (Italian movies, there is always problems within the family.)

- 10 (Swedish movies, everybody's Bergmanian Suicidal Sexmanics.)

0 (Greek movies, everybody murders the sons-in-laws)

+ 10 (Mexican movies, everybody's in a gang of bandits.)

+ 25 (Israeli movies, there's always a explosion in the streets and wildly shooting palestinians.)

+ 50 (British movies, everyone's poor, unemployed but proud of the Queen.)

+ 75 (Norwegian movies, everyone wears wool sweaters and skies.)

+ 100 (American movies, everyone's competitive, have guns, and argues about innumerable subjects)

What say ye?
