And those paintings that were lifted from the museum in broad daylight - Indeed, how can security for such IMO priceless works of art be so, so lax?? The thieves most likely did this job on some sort of commission from a financially wealthy, yet ethically bankrupt collector; therefore, selling the works on the black market would not be a problem that the thieves would have to face. There is so much "lost" priceless art in private collections worldwide.

So, what do the Norwegian mooters think of the red-green coalition's victory in the recent parliamentary elections and what are your opinions on Jens Stoltenberg's succeeding Kjell Magne Bondevik as prime minister?

I voted for him so I can't complain. I think he'll do a good job (obviously), and it'll be nice to once more have a government that doesn't have to depend on anyone else to get things done. We'll see how things turn out when it comes to their actual politics...

Good thing SV don't have much say when it comes to school-politics though, I think their new proposals in this cathegory (removing grades, 6 hour-day) lost them many voters.

Yep, those issues and their EU standpoint is why I voted for Labor instead. So yeah, I'm happy for the change.

I'm not so happy about the Progress Party now being the second largest party though.

Actually the right-wing coalition got more votes than the red-green, but the red-green still got the majority of the seats in the Parliament.
