OK am watching all from now till end so no more comments on here until it's over.

Good luck to everyone who wants something to win!

CYA in a few minutes - probably about 10 or 15 at the rate they drag these things out...

Nope I lied cos PJ didn't win.
I don't want to sit watching a Happy Days special speech.

I can't believe he looks the same apart from the hair, it's REALLY freaking me out!

Doesn't bode well for best picture award though

It's about time Ron Howard won. Too bad this wasn't his best film.

You're gonna hear it over and over....."We have two years ot catch up and award LotR"....then, next two years: "LotR has already been recognized".

Opie an't got SQUAT on Peter Jackson. There goes Best Picture.

The Oscars have NEVER been a mark of quality.

A moral of the whole (after the primary symbolism of the Ring, as the will to mere power, seeking to make itself objective by physical force and mechanism, and so also inevitably by lies) is the obvious one that without the high and noble the simple and vulgar is utterly mean; and without the simple and ordinary the noble and heroic is meaningless." I liked Harry Potter too and saw it 5 times. I saw it and LOTR back to back one day too. That was pretty cool. Long - but cool.

Rob Howard has done a lot of movies. I liked A Beautiful Mind and I thought he'd win. I saw 4 out of five of the movies up for Best Picture.

Didn't say I wasn't pulling, just that I didn't think it should win, in a technical sense.

*sigh* A Beautiful Mind. Poor LotR.

Poor Russel Crowe. A Beautiful Mind won practically every big award - except Best Actor for him!
