If you invite someone you know here, do you get any credit or anything? I heard someone talking about something like that a couple of weeks ago, and I wasn't really sure what they were talking about. Just curious.

They enter a username and the only credit you get is a thing called "referrals" with a number next to it.

You don't get it. Whoever you get to sign up types your username in a box during registration.

And it does you absolutely nothing.
If you look in my profile, you can see I have 1 referral.

Agreed! I am later than you are, by a lot. I just happened to be sick today, so I thought I'll go to Entmoot, I am probably pretty behind. Yeah! A whole new Teacup Cafe behind!

Oh, okay. umm, kinda late. I thought I should ask before I said go sign in, but oh well. It doesn't sound like it is worth it though.

LOL!
Sorry.

Teacup Table News
Rupturing news!

Tabby, in an effort not directly related to his campaign yet having to do with Entmoot politics, has decided to petition Administration and the President. What does he have in mind? Making a certain famous song the Entmoot Anthem. Treebeard's Song. It goes as follows:

In the willow-meads of Tasarinan I walked in the Spring.
Ah! the sight and the smell of the Spring in Nan-tasarion!
And I said that was good.
I wandered in Summer in the elm-woods of Ossiriand.
Ah! the light and the music in the Summer by the Seven Rivers of Ossir!
And I thought that was best.
To the beeches of Neldoreth I came in the Autumn.
Ah! the gold and the red and the sighing leaves in the Autumn in Taur-na-neldor!
It was more than my desire.
To the pine-trees upon the highland of Dorthonion I climbed in the Winter.
Ah! the wind and the whiteness and the black branches of Winter upon Orod-na-Thôn!
My voice went up and sang in the sky.
And now all those lands lie under wave,
And I walk in Ambaróna, in Tauremorna, in Aldalómë,
In my own land, in the country of Fangorn,
Where the roots are long,
And the years lie thicker than the leaves
In Tauremornalómë.

Some critics have speculated that it's a rather long anthem to sing in one sitting, but that's why we're called an Entmoot, isn't it?

Yo! Just wanted to let someone know that I feel like eating home-made cheesecake... and that I don't feel like going to bed even though I have to get up early tomorrow.
Not very interesting information, but I thought I'd share it anyway

Welcome Mari!
(I know you've been here before, but we've not met.)

Home-made cheesecake?

Well, there's some in the refrigerator! It's behind the bar...

So you're from Japan? I know some people in Japan. Katsuyama, I believe.

Home-made cheescake?

We celebrated my mother's birthday and I had her home-made cheesecake both yesterday and today. It's the best cheesecake there is!

(Oh, I believe Mari is Dutch, not Japanese. Isn't that right Mari?)

Er, Jon, her location tag says Beppu Japan. Though that might be where she wants to be as opposed to where she is.

Nope, Beppu is where I am. But today I don't want to be here. Too much rain and an awfull lot of lightning and thunder. Frankly it's a bit scary But I've been told that that is normal on the top of a mountain and that I am in for much worse when the rainy season really starts. So I guess I'll just sit down with a nice, hot cup of tea and some chocolate cookies. If you want one too, please go ahead! *holding op a box with chocolate cookies and a kettle with hot water*

My grandmother makes the best cheesecake, even better than I do

Nice to meet you too trolls' bane!
And indeed I am Dutch, but I study in Japan for a year.

Thanks, don't mind if I take some then.

Katsuyama... never been there. I've heard the name before, but I can't find it in my Lonely Planet.
But we allready established that the LP isn't much help when you are really looking for information.

Ah. So that explains it.
What island is Beppu on?
Rain and thunder and lightning are good! You are so lucky.

Well, I can name an infinite number of people who make better cheesecake than I. I use the Cafe's replicators... The exact molecular structure of homemade cheesecake.

I too enjoy storms. I think you are qquite lucky. After all, you aren't out in it!

Hmm, so you are in Japan, but only to study? Sounds cool. I want to do that at some point, travel and go to school in other countries. What are you studying?
