this avatar has both the flag of the US and it has our symbol of liberty.

a symbol of liberty that was a gift from France (may we be friends again).

I have put a nice American flag over my normal avatar. I did the same with the Norwegian and Swedish flags when the two countries had their national days.

EDIT: I think the flag I've used comes from the same place as the flags in Khamul's and Ruinel's avatars. That's cool.

huh? You're joking, right? The Statue of Liberty is located on Liberty Island (formerly Bedloe Island and Fort Wood) in New York Harbor, which as far as I know is in New York.

That was very nice of you.

I like the Swedish flag because it has pretty colors (blue and yellow).

Though, the Norwegian flag has red, white and blue.

There are too many flags with red, white and blue. The Swedish flag is almost the only one with only yellow and blue in it (it was not until the USSR collapsed and gave birth to countries like Ukraine and Kazakstan that other yellow/blue flags arrived)

It is in NJ waters. But NY once claimed its theirs and it does look better, blending in with the big city, so they even started maintaining it, and charging NY sales taxes (which are higher) in its gift shops. I think at one point the two stateswere arguing over it, but we must have eventually realised the good deal we got, having a giant statue/symbol of freedom and not having to do anything for it. So it is Jersey's, but NY just wanted it so we pretty much let them have it, unofficially.
