Gandalf Problem fixed

Somehow my UserCp settings got changed, most strange. All seems working properly now.

How about an answer to that question?

Gandalf

You are on the right track but the wrong answer and not specific.

Val would kill me if I give in again. I know you can get it...or perhaps you're too UK'd to concentrate? :-)

Not at all Spock! The one time I said something, I was more commenting on how badly you stump us with your typical questions.

When the Fellowship arrived at Caras Galadon, what was the challenge and the reply before they could ascend the trees?

What trees are you talking about? Not Celeborn and Galadriel's right?

Well... I give up, I don't really understand which trees you refer. And I tried all trees I know. And no one else seems to know the answer - no one else posted. Can you please give it to me and ask a new one then?

The only trees I can think of are the first that they must climb with Haldir and his brothers... yet I still don't know the answer... is it that their challenege to... climb!? The hobbits had a hard time climbing? No clue...

One elf sounded a horn from below and was answered by three horn blows from above.

But I said that!

See, I said - 'What about 3 times the elves from top calledin the horn?' as the only change from what I said before - 'one of the elves made noise with a horn, and a voice gave answer from the top?' so there.

That's the correct, complete answer for the question I asked. Reading carefully is usually the key to my questions.

Sorry, Radagast, I wasn't going to answer the question while you were on the right track, however, I wanted to put you out of your misery.

I also wanted to prevent Spock from tearing his hair out!!

So here is my question....

Where was Gandalf when Frodo, Sam and Pippin set out from Hobbiton?

I answered the question correctly, really. I don't understand what Spock is saying, but I answered the question just like you did. Maybe he didn't understand me.

Anyway, the answer to your question should be in Rohan. Or maybe aready passed Rohan during his journey back to the Shire.
