I would like to try and translate the Dutch, but remember that (a) I hardly know any so (b) I would have to cheat with a dictionary and (c) I am really bad at idiomatic translation since Dutch is so strange. Ik heb een map. Does that make sense? Nehehe.

Wir sagten:
GW: Also, weider spricht ihr dumme Fremdsprechen.
J: Werden wir nochmal auf 'Schwein Englisch' sprechen?
Ich glaube sie mochten der Konig uberwerfen (!!! opps)
GW: Ja, wir werden. Sie sind, oder? Das wird nicht nett sein.
V: Can you translate to Dutch?
GW: Es tut mir leid, das wird zu schwierig sein.

I'm sorry, you'll need to be German with fluent English to understand that... but all my sweet little direct translations! 'Over throw' as 'uberwerfen'! Ich bin so suss...

Edit: Also, Hallo Vicky! Schoen das du hier bist!

Some little corrections. If I may.

Ich glaube, sie mochten der Konig stürzen

Thanks, always appriciate it. ('Wieder' was a typo I swear!)
Schwein Englisch is the literal translation of what GW and I were doing... sticking 'ay' on the end of syllables. Some variations get really complicated, and sometimes it's called Pig Latin, not pig English.
'Sie sind, oder?' was kinda out of context... it was my attempt at the question 'Are they now?'

Ah, the rest was really slangy... couldn't you pretend it was hard to make my German appear better?

So Deutsch also has very strange literal translations, does it? Not only Dutch?

Wonders if she should deliberately mix up the words Deutsch and Dutch just to confuse people like Eärniel again

I've said before that Deutsch and Nederlands are often very similar, didn't I? 'bescheiden' is the same in Deutsch as it is in Nederlands.

Neheheh....

I know Dutch and Deutsch are similar, but I thought it was mostly Dutch that had the odd literal translations, and not Deutsch also. Or was that Deutsch and not Dutch? Dutch is easier than Deutsch, niet wahr? Or was that Deutsch, and not Dutch?

Oh, Eär. I was listening to a recording of someone saying something in Dutch (or Deutsch? Deutsch Dutch? ) and he pronounced 'is' as 'ish' and said it might've been his accent from where he's from. Do you also do that?

Keep your languages straight or I'll get so confused I'll start talking in my most dialectic Flemish.

And no, I don't say 'is' as 'ish'.

I'd say Dutch seems like a mix of German and English... at least I can kinda understand Arrow Classic Rock with just a vague understanding of the two...

The Belgian national day is the 21st of July.

The feast of the Flemish community (since Flanders isn't a nation) is the 11th of July.

Ironically I haven't been in Belgium for the last 20 years on those dates (since they fall in the only month my family goes on holiday) and thus sadly enough I have never seen the celebrations.
