Come on, while charming amateurism is the order of the day you know you're got nothing to be afraid of re: the relentless march of anti-democratic supra-nationalism

Monsters from Finland it is! Congrats!

I think this was the first time in years that most of the first five are songs I actually liked.

I wonder how next year of contestants will try to emulate Lordi's act? That could be fun.

Apparently we have a large community of them? It surprised me as well. Still, it was the first time they participated, wasn't it? Didn't do to badly for a first time.

XD I'm amazed. I'm very proud to be a Finn now. They surely represented our culture well..

Otherwise, I thought it was a lot of.. poo, like it has been for a long time. I'm glad that people voted for someone who wasn't in the category where 90 % were (women without clothes.. i don't mind that, but too much is too much.. and they all sang the same song.). Personally, my favourites were Lithuania (you've got to love those crazy old guys ) and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

*shrugs*

Humour me.

Compared to scale of usual and past eurovision songs, the top five were very passable IMO. My favourite this year was Sweden.

Go Eurovision. Most brilliant thing to have happened to that contest in ages.

Terrible song, though.
