*chrys comes in and sits down on a tentacle*

whoops! sorry about that! didn't notice you there

well, i can't drink too much in here today, I have to go and get ready to go out to a gig tonite, i have still got to dye my hair, have a shower, go and get some money out the cashpoint, find my spikey wristbands and spiky belt, and do my eyeliner

but i do have time for a steaming cup of coffee-cointreau

It's on the house. Direct approval from Nurv.
That's true! He does have direct approval!

I was hoping to make you a waiter TB, do you still want the job?

I also made Merry and Pippin waiters... um, who else works here?

Lotesse, I'm sorry you've had such a crappy day. If I was in your shoes, I'd tell my boyfriend that you already know how he feels about your friend, but she is your friend and you love her, and would he kindly shut up about this topic in the future.

Or some possibly nicer worded way. It's not easy to tell people stuff like that, but you care about them both, and if he doesn't keep his opinions to himself about your best friend, it could put a strain on your relationship. (Possibly because, if it was me, I'd be tempted to kick him in the balls after a while if he didn't shut his pie hole on this matter.)

Nurv,
Always ready to colourfully insult/imply violence against people who upset my friends

PS. You get extra complimentary gouda cheese.
PPS. And a hug.

So I'm still drawing the cafe, and I don't want to leave things out. So far I have a large, unamed dragon (possibly Obnovat?), three floors, the astronomy tower plus large telescope, two tables out front, sliding doors for the main entrance, and a separate room with the hippo.

I thought we rebuilt everything that Lief blew up? I don't have space for the pool though. I might be able to wedge in a don't pee in the pool sign or something.

I drew the Mod-Gods. As God from Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail.

Mod-God: What are you doing now?
Teacupers: Posting off-topic O Lord!
Mod-God: Well stop it!

You can't see very much of the interior in this picture. I did get our Ent waiter with a plate of scones in there though.

This guy:

Also any moderator, if you see this banner, can you stick it in the first post please? Preferably Spock, since it was his post.

Also with the words "Welcome to the Teacup Cafe" above, that would be awesome.

I'm not demanding...

edit: I added a Finnish sauna to the Cafe, just cuz.

You're all welcome to use it. Clean towels will be provided. No shoes.

Now to find a nice cup of hot chocolate to get my spirits up. Oh, and I've brought my signature snack, chocolate donuts too.

"N" it's done.

Nurvi, hey when I remodeled the Teacup for you last october or so, after the postwar damage, I had a whole huge wing added where we have a big outside pool and a sauna, too, and stuff like that, plus a new V.I.P. lounge with comfy plush chairs and a fireplace, and a white rug, and also I added an emergency bedroom and put up piccys and everything. Didn't you ever see all the new rooms? Don't you like them, Nurvi! I tried to take real good care of your Teacup Cafe for the months you were kinda gone. I even got militant about enforcing a No More War in the Teacup rule. Well anyway.

*Brews espresso shots and starts steaming milk for caramel lattes and macchiatos.*

Hm, I wish that pic wouldn't so be small so I could read what's written there... bet it's fun.

Wheee, have been to a WONderful party last night... Wednesday was one of my friend's birthday, Sunday will be another friend's nameday, so we combined the two and went to party on Friday.

Gee, I love them so, my friends. Even if some of them I only meet once in a moth or so... More the fun to be together.

*sips caramel latte prepared by Lotesse*
