Right on! Thanks guys, you have been added. Tell your friends! Let's make the Entsus Entmoot-wide!

Haradrim you rule for starting this thread.

EDIT: I figured out how to make a wannabe histogram, it seems like the best way to represent the data. I say wannabe because Excel can't make a proper one (it's all about the continuous categories baby), but close enough.

The series are each country sampled. The age classes are:

0-15
16-25
26-35
36-45
46-55
56-65

Then the number of people falling into each age class is graphed. This way when we get a lot of samples, we will still have a readable graph. Also, if we get tons of samples from one country and only a few from another, you will still be able to find the data from the small country.

Cool?

Some people just love statistics I guess

(Janny is one of these people, so I know the type )

BTW, who came up with the name 'Entsus'? It's fantastic

Telcontar tells it like it is.

I think it's fun, but those who don't only have to make a short little post in here.

Eh sorry, was busy. 23 years old and born and residing in Belgium. At least four generations Belgian, the descent beyond that is anyone's guess really. As for hobbies, I like drawing, reading, scribbling and generally procrastinating. I also have a soft spot for frogs, cats and chocolate. More info will probably bore you.

EDIT: I just found out TD beat me to posting my age and country. How embarassing....

I'm glad you like Entsus sun-star. After all that geekiness with the spreadsheet, it just popped into my head. Thanks Telcontar.

Artanis, I'm going to put your country as Norway, but let me know if you want me to change it to South Korea.

I figured where people have lived for most of thier lives is a good general rule, but the answer is the country people identify with most.

I've added Arty, here's hoping for more!

I suspect this will take a while, because the longer we wait the more people will participate!

EDIT: I just figured out that I can add data to my chart! When I add it in the table, the chart updates automatically! I can even add a new series! w00t
All this time I thought Excel charts were static. I'm sure glad I was wrong though.

Do my ramblings about Excel make sense to anyone, because I can stop...

Well IU am glad people keep posting in this it seems like people are having fun. The name Entsus is awesome btw whoever came up with it. Oh and Nurv I think its a cool idea to create an actual pseudo-histogram. We can actually see what are age groups are. Cool. Well keep posting everyone.

Years are discrete, as I sort of pointed out to inked.

BQ we do need more people. More... more!!! *insane cackling*

Haradrim I'm glad you like that name 'Entsus'.
