Well, apparently so. It would be unjust to ban anyone for violating any of the rules even if they were warned ten million times beforehand, now wouldn't it?

I like Ruinel a lot, despite her "hasty" temper - she is funny and thoughtful and loves Tolkien. I admired how she would whole-heartedly apologize once she cooled down. I'll miss her, and I hope the ban may be changed to a period somewhere between a weekend and a lifetime (like a month, perhaps), but I understand where SGH is coming from, too, and I really appreciate how she's moderated the board and kept it v. nice on her own time, without any benefits.

I saw GrayMouser's comment, and hope he will come back, too, because I like him and he has great posts. No MB is perfect, because the people on the MBs are not perfect, but to me, at least, Entmoot has been really good, because of the moderating.

Seriously, she's taken a lot of flack for her decisions the past day or so - and it could be expected to wear anyone down. So let's just all give each other a little space, OK? No need to escalate things further.

If you've read everything in the pertinent threads and still have some questions about why the banning happened, I'm sure SGH would answer your questions if you PM her... and ask nicely.

(EDIT: just remember that she's a person too... and yet she's wearing a lot of footprints from folks around here from the past couple days)

If you're trying to be sarcastic regarding Ruinel's ban, I only ban people for valid reasons, and in this case you haven't any idea, or at best a one sided tale of events, as to why it even happened.

Hey, all I said was people here need to start acting like adults. And I asked if the rules changed and it is now ok to go to people to go to hell. And yes, I had a rolled eyes smiley cause her response was completely uncalled for. And then I got provoked with SGH's smart-a$$ comments. Actually, I think it means "fate of the gods". "Twillight of the gods" is a translation from German "Götterdämmerung" which again is a mistranslation of Ragnarok.
