Friday, the Departed. Pretty impressive. Jack Nicholson rocks.

Oh, so you've also seen it? I'd love to discuss that statement then.

No I've not seen that particular film. I am however familiar with its premise and Al Gore's junk science. I find it interesting that you want to discuss my statement and not the issue itself; but either way we're off topic for the "films i've seen thread" inconvenient edit: heres a little article with some inconvenient truth for Al Gore

on topic: "The Great Raid" Excellent film I'm going to do some reasearch on it when I have time though.

"I Love Your Works"

It took me a while to get into it but I liked the way the plot was revealed, and the whole ambience.

"Jack Ass Number Two"

I never saw the first one. My boyfriend talked me into seeing this one. I'm scarred for life. It's worse than the Tortuga Twins (which I am an avid and loyal fan of, btw.).

Save me... *cowers*

I want to see this one. Anything with Matt Damon with his original Bostonian accent has got to be cool.

Of course I want to discuss the issue itself also! I guess discussing your statement, in my mind, would involve discussing the issue; if we're discussing how unscientific Al Gore's movie/book are, it involves discussing the controversal works themselves, don't you think?

Oh, and I'd love to discuss that page you linked to aswell. There are good points, but there are also less good points in there.

And, just because I liked the movie and think it might even make people think about what an important issue this is, it does not mean I support it fully. There is something between black and white; there are other alternatives than being with someone and being against.

(Maybe I should just start a thread on this..)

Night Watch and Day Watch. Me likey. Especially Day Watch. It was funny; when they had Tamerlan and gang talking, the Russian subtitles had absolutely nothing to do with the English ones. Like, the Russian said "The chalk is there!" and the English "Don't do it!"

Yesterday I was forced, due to the fact that one of my guests had hired the movie, to see the lousiest piece of crap movie Swedish movie producers ever made...Sökarna. - And there's even a SECOND one of these G-class movies.

That is the last time I'll ever allow him to chose the movie to rent without me being present at the rental store. The other three guests concurred with my view of the movie.

It sounds just like the sort of thing I'd love. Too bad I'm too cheap to buy it...

The Island is awesome plus it has some really funny moments. Is Joe Pantoliano in that movie?

The Prestige. WOW. It was amazing! It was not exactly what I expected, but it made me use my brain until the very last minute and beyond. Mind, it wasn't the kind of movie that makes you feel fuzzy about humanity. But it was amazingly acted, written and directed. A masterpiece, IMHO. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale are wonderful actors, and together they're magnificent.

Wasn't that the one about magicians in the Victoria era? In Prague?
