Shame, pinguins are usually protected species.
But I don't see anyone kidnapping a moose that easily... |

You'd think the same about a huge tree... Perhaps he left voluntary and some oaf decided to take advantage by putting up a ransom note? You know, bail with the money before the payers realise the hostage was never really kidnapped to begin with?

Good point on both counts. That puts the Quickbeam hypothesis back in the foreground.

Man... no one is safe from our imaginations... Who knows?
Next we'll be pointing swords at each other (or possibly bows/arrows, depending on preference)...

That's how we do our ACCOUNTING, Earn. Post-its work WAY better than Excel, for like... adding and stuff.

Maybe we should start to compare handwriting... |

Here's mine for comparison to the post-its on the banner:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog... Have we hit the 42 posts?

Is handwriting a way of finding relatives? That's amazing, what science can do!
Who needs DNA anymore?

Yeah, and judging by todays message from the kidnappers, we didn't make it! We have a bald Treebeard now!
Well, technically, we don't even have that since the kidnappers still have him, but you get the idea. |

A quick tally says we came up but a handful short.
I wonders how quickly the hair of an Ent grows... And will he ever be able to forgive us? |

I'd say the new look isn't too bad. It's... a change. Turning over a new leaf, even.

That's ridiculous. We so managed those 42! I demand A) a recount and B) a lower ransom! >_<

Perhaps we could swap Treebeard, for say... Hector as a hostage?

What and have him pruned as well?
Maybe there's something in this not giving in to kidnappers' demands. If we didn't make it to 42 posts, it doesn't matter all that much since we have Treebeard back anyway. Although he -um- appears to be angrily glaring at us since he lost his hair and beard... |
