I don't know where Grand Poobah is from. Hm... are you planning on taking someone's country over?

His Royal Highness and most Munificent Majesty King LutraMage (May all tremble in His Presence).
Yep, I think that just about wraps it up as a title!

I joined yesterday, but this seem to have little changes today... I've just set the issues option to 2 per day. Let's see if that allows me to improve the country.
The name of the Ruler is "The Fat Brother". We're suppose to be a kind of brotherhood nation. But of course, not all brothers are equal

Hey, I just started a country, its called The Empire of Beornacorfinaanan, and my people are afraid to vote. Its pretty cool, I am really going to screw with their lives. I am Lord Beor the Mighty (known among my people as Beor the Cruel, but if that ever got out, sheesh). My representative animal is the Badger, and my currency is the Bullet.
The Empire of Beornacorfinaanan "No one but me can save myself, but its too late" UN Category: Authoritarian Democracy Civil Rights: Some Economy: Fragile Political Freedoms: Some Location: The Great Continent of Entmoot The Empire of Beornacorfinaanan is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 5 million are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively. It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 47%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Beef-Based Agriculture. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Beornacorfinaanan's national animal is the badger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the bullet.

I've just joined.
The Empire of Galadradagastia is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed population of 5 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt. The large government devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 24%, but much higher for the wealthy. A substantial private sector is led by the Basket Weaving industry, followed by Information Technology and Woodchip Exports. Crime is moderate. Galadradagastia's national animal is the budger and its currency is the shekels. |

Don't think I'll join the UN for a good while... and don't think we should as a group. The one time I checked in, some proposal or other has just been passed; 11,000 some votes to 8,000 some votes. All member nations were obligated to comply.
I don't even know what the proposal was, but any voice we had there would be tiny... and if less than 60% carry the day - and everybody has to comply, that's a LOT of outside control to surrender to an international body... and could wreak havoc on our individual states. So I say, let's let our individual countries take shape and see how this goes, before we seriously consider taking any kind of 'plunge' into the UN. |

In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.' 'Then Tuor arrayed himself in the hauberk, and set the helm upon his head, and he girt himself with the sword; black were sheath and belt with clasps of silver. Thus armed he went forth from Turgon's hall, and stood upon the high terraces of Taras in the red light of the sun. None were there to see him, as he gazed westward, gleaming in silver and gold, and he knew not that in that hour he appeared as one of the Mighty of the West, and fit to be father of the kings of the Kings of Men beyond the Sea, as it was indeed his doom to be; but in the taking of those arms a change came upon Tuor son of Huor, and his heart grew great within him. And as he stepped down from the doors the swans did him reverence, and plucking each a great feather from their wings they proffered them to him, laying their long necks upon the stone before his feet; and he took the seven feathers and set them in the crest of his helm, and straightway the swans arose and flew north in the sunset, and Tuor saw them no more.' -Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin "Oh.
