I think that animal testing is bad. If a human wonts to find an answer to say cancer, then why can they not test a human that had it? I am sher that someone would be willing to test it! Incase the diesese is rar, then someone could test an animal I geuss, but if it is so rar that no one can be found to test it, then maybe it is okay just to not find a cure, untill you see progress in the diesese growing! What do you mean by testing them for cosmetics, to see if it gives people rashes or something?

The policy is to test on animals first, then the medicine can be tested on humans. Less risky if something goes wrong....

I don't know, I just think that it is creul all around, and I think that animal testing is just as risky as human testing, it is just that most humans can not see that animals have fillings ect. just like us, OHHH WELL I geuss that that can not be helped!

Well, I'm definetely into animals. Right now I have a dog named Sally, a kitten named Sunny, an a horse named Max.
Sally: 8 years old and can still out run almost every dog I know Sunny: a hyper, supercharged, pouncing, playful little critter if there ever was one. Max:...My cute little sweetie. Still young, still learning the ropes of being a pleasure horse, but I just love him, even when he tries to kill me. Yeah, I'm an animal person

You have a HORSE, Elenka? I LOVE horses!
I have a guinea pig named Pippin officially, but I always forget to call her that. My sister has another guinea pig and a mostly-Lab puppy called Skoshi (small in Japanese) and Rosie, respectivley. We also have 3 fish: a goldfish called Faramir a long, thin one called Gildor a really small one called Hobbit We had 2 goldfish originally, but Boromir died. Oh, the irony...

I am definately a cat person, dogs are okay, but I really don't like them very much. Especially little yappy hyper ones.
I have a 3 year old cat. Her name is Callie, she's a calico. Very original name, lol. We got her from the animal shelter. We most likely saved her life, they would have put her to sleep if no one had adopted her soon. That's what kills me. They put so many cats and dogs asleep, yet people will pay thousands for a special breed. I love my kitty and if it were up to me I'd adopt 20 cats. But it took me 3 years of begging for my family to agree to let me have one. So oh well, but if you want a new puppy or kitten, please go get one from you local animal shelter, save a life!

I have a Standard Poodle named Zeus. Before I got him I thought poodles were wimpy little yappy things but only the little poodles bark a lot. Zeus is so big he can pull people on cross country ski's, but he is scared of globes, snowblowers, vacumes and buckets.
I think he is scared of buckets because he got his head stuck in a watering can. He ran all over the back porch and nocked a broom on himself. He won't drink out of watering cans anymore. Zeus also has mad a habit of carrying shoes around. He won't chew them, but he will pick them up and carry them around for a while.

I have a hamster. Here's some stats about her:
Name: Ginger Alaises: Ginge, Ginger-baby, The Ginginator, fuzzy-wuzzy-woo-woo Breed: Syrian short-hair Appearance: fur that's a pretty auburn colour with some white; one red eye, one black eye; pink nose and feet Habitat: A white cage with a "space theme" wheel, a tupperware house (loves that thing) and the roof slants, so she can easily climb it. Favourite person: Me! Favourite foods: Corn and sunflower seeds. Hobbies: Climbing the walls of her cage, sleeping, being held by ME, running in her wheel, and staring at the cats.

I am offended that you people don't like yappy dogs. I have a yappy chihuahua Nellie, and a cat (old cat) named Boots.
Boots is such a sweet heart! She'll sleep with her head on my neck all night, purring, helps me get to sleep. Nellie on the other hand, is actually pretty er...yappy? She whines all the time because she wants to be held or wants to go out, or wants to whine, but she isn't MY biggest fan, she's may dad's biggest fan. But I love her anyway. When we had a big old, sharpae/retriever mix, she would boss him around ! She is furocious

Thats a cute nickname for your hamster durin's bane!
I call my dog butt boy or now a days since he lost his leg "TLG" I know its mean. But he is really spoiled by me and my mom. I let him sleep on my bed even though every time I wake up he is closer to me. Then when it is morning he is on top of me. He is a sweet heart.
