that would be horrible!
I have just remembered a bit that made me laugh so much! When Jack and Will are planning to steal the ship and they are walking under the water with the boat over them. And then it does a long shot and you can just see them plodding along and then Will gets his foot stuck in a crate thing and then there is another long shot and you see them plodding along again but Will's got this crate on his foot. lol! i found this part hilarious! |

Ui, Spoilers, Spoilers.
I should rather not look into this thread ... the film is coming out some time in September in Austria.

My favorite part is when Jack shouts "STOP BLOWING HOLES IN MY SHIP!!!", and then he picks up the bottle of rum to see if there's any left
EDIT: Argh, I didn't see your post Lalaith! Sorry!

you forgot Ewan McGregor as Barbossa's evil twin they always try to double up on baddies in sequels to make it sound more exiting Fav. bit has to be when Jack's crew steals the Pearl and the ghost pirates say "bloody pirates". my it sounded a lot better in the film.

Well, I never took English, but I'm totally facinated with words, so about savvy, 'that's ve-ery int'resting'. Oh, I saw it again, and I watched aaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllll the credits and finally saw Jack take the coin out again. Arrg! Stupid monkey. That thing about POTC2 w/ Drew Barrymore and Mark Hamill (?!) is hilarious. I nearly fell out of me chair, savvy? (just gotta annoy Elfmaster!) Oh, say, did anyone watch the monkey when Barbossa says "Not you, we named the monkey Jack." The silly monkey does this little grin thing! Oh man it's sooooooooo funny!

Sorry to double post. Say, crickhollow, where ever you are, the reason I said (in the now-closed topic 'Jack Sparrow?') that Capn't Sparrow lived in the 1800's- well, now I'm thinkin' late 1700's- is because Jack said that the Black Pearl was the last real pirate ship in the Caribbean. If that's true, then the 'golden age of piracy' or whatever you call it would have been over by the time the movie is set in, so then it had to have been a ways after the 1600's and most of the 17's. They never do tell you what year it is in that movie.

It's the Pearl. *drools* She's such a fine ship. And the Interceptor too. It hurt me to see her sink. I love big old ships like these two.

Another one of the best lines in the whole movie: "Quit blowin' holes in my ship!" -- Captain Jack Sparrow

I love the part when they're in the Faithless Bride and Jack is trying to get Gibbs to notice Will, and he's like nodding and grunting. "That there is the child of Bootstrap Bill Turner. His . . only child . . savvy?"
"Why is the rum gone?!" "You cheated." "Just doing my civic duty, sir." "I can't breath!" Plop. "We named the monkey Jack." "Mostly we figure that means 'yes'." "Do you suppose he wasn't tellin' the truth?" "Then Robert's your uncle, Fannie's your aunt, and there you are with two ships, the makings of your very own fleet. Of course you'll take the grandest as your flagship, and who's to argue? But what of the Pearl? Name me captain, and I'll sail under your colors, give ye ten percent o' me plunder, and ye get t' introduce yeself as . . . Commador Barbossa."
