It better be college ruled!
*shudders at the thought of anything with lines bigger than college ruled lines*
*thinks that big lines are almost as bad as PE... Almost...*
*would rather be burned alive than have to be at PE for life*

I use to like PE, but these days too self-concious...

College ruled is good, wide ruled wastes so much space....

Thanks! Pity all that thinking (and therefore calories burned) ended up adding more to the total entropy anyway...
As my Geometry teacher would say, "I failed the mind-reading course."

No, more like "School for A Bunch of Dumb Gangstuh Morons Who Ridicule and Persecute Those Who Choose to Rise Above the Populace by Applying Ourselves to Getting An Education and Doing Important Things for Both the Scientific Community and The Community At Large."

I will here state that "Science" does not mean what either of you think it means.

Thank you for listening to this broadcast.

Exactly.

"Science", or "Scientific Knowledge", is, properly speaking, an absolute and certain knowledge of a thing, resulting when the thing follows necessarily from other absolutely known things. Basically, when you know the cause of the thing, when you know that it is the cause, and you know that it cannot be otherwise.

I'm sorry...
WHAT!?!?

Being that that is true, then all science would then be purely "speculence," because after all, there is no certain way of knowing anything. All science is speculation anyway, but with that definition science could no longer apply as science.

I've got an awesome history teacher:

(referring to the superiority of the Israeli forces) "They call it the Seven Days' War because it only took Israel seven days to beat the entire Middle East...they could turn the entire Middle East into a sheet of glass. Of course, then we'd have to tap through the glass to get the oil, but oh well..."

You are correct that what is called "science" is not properly science, but opinion (largely right opinion).

You are wrong that there is no certain way of knowing anything. Senses, and more importantly, induction.

Objection! What about the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle? Occam's razor? Though those are limited to particular fields, they serve to illustrate that there really is no way of knowing anything with absolute certainty.
