i really cant live without coffee, my body tends to shut itself down

canr stand instant though

my favourite coffees are ethipoian, viennese (mmm, fig) and a coffee that Taylors of Harrogate make, it is called 'Dark Side of the Moon' and is the strongest espresso you ever did taste, perfect with pancakes for breakkie

i also make my own blends, a particular favourite is:
1 part ethiopian, 2 javan, 1 kenyan, 1 costa rican, 1 espresso
knock that one down your neck and see if you're still breathing

I know that drip Tanzanian makes a good laxative!

They are changing vendors here at work so the free coffee will change ... anything has to be an improvement to the machine we have. The coffee stinks like it has cigarette butts in it...

Chrys, that recipe I seriously wanna try; I'm wondering - do you buy all these beans, then grind them together in those amounts & brew? You must be either fabulously wealthy, or have a source on the inside at a coffee place...

Have to add my two cents to this thread...I hated coffee until I was about 38. Then my youngest brother said "have you tried sweet Thai coffee?" When I said "no" he promptly made me try it at a Thai restaurant. It is made with espresso and sweetend condensed milk. The espresso drips into the milk, then the whole thing is mixed up and poured over ice -- or you can drink it hot. It is heaven on ice!! From then on I was more willing to try various coffee drinks (lattes, cappucinos, etc.) until now I am a confirmed coffee drinker. I love flavored coffees as well as the brew served at Tim Horton's donut shops (if you haven't tried Tim Horton's coffee and there's a Tim's near you -- stop in!!!! It is the best coffee anywhere if you are just looking for your morning caffeine fix...).

So there you are, folks. Confessions of a coffee junkie.

(better watch out if anyone starts an Iced Tea thread, though. That is my absolute favorite drink and I'm very opinonated about it!!!)

You gotta have a donut with the Tim Hortons....

I have to say I suffer from the Starbux desease. Used to be you could get coffee rather cheap, and get refills free! Now its two bucks a cup no matter....
