OOOOOH!!!! I LOVE Tamora Pierce. I just to be completly obsessed with her books. Now I'm completly obsessed with LotR, but I'm not talking about LotR. I personally like the Tortall books best, especially the Keladry ones. I didn't like Alanna that much, but I loved Daine also!!
I'm so glad that there's a Tamora Peirce thread!!

Daine's my favorite, then Alanna, then Keledry, then Alianne.
But I like them all!

Kewl. As soon as I saw that, I went to the library page to see if my local library has a copy.
It does. I held a coopy for me to pick up at the library. That goes to show how much I like it!!

I've only read the Lioness Quartet and I loved them. I guess I'm going to have the get the others that she's wrote, since everyone seems to have a high recomendation of them.

I'll make a note of that. Though I have a HUGE pile of books to get through at the moment. I've been neglecting my reading due to work load - but I'll probably start again with these...

Oh, yes!!
The Immortals quartet is next, then the Protector of the Small quartet, then this new one- apparently the Lioness's daughter or something like that. It sounds cool!! Then there's the Circle of magic quartet and the other one about Sandry, Tris, Daja and Briar. But i don't like those as much. (Not that I don't read them )

Oh!! I got Trickster's Choice today, and I'm reading it now (well, not RIGHT now). I like Aly a lot, but I muchly prefer Tortall to the Copper Isles. No slavery, for one thing...

Only 2? NOOOO!!! Two is too little!! I want 4 at the very least!!!
I do hope she'll write more Tortall books, especially if it's only two books in the series.

It's still that world... Trickster's Choice isn't about Tortall either. It's about the Copper Isles. It'll be cool to read about Maura of Dunlath.

no, they weren't. she wrote another series about those characters- i think it's called the circle opens or something; i never read them, though. i think those books were written for a younger set- like, 10-11. i know they were a little too young for me.
