Zavron, I have an assignment for you. Sit down with a pen and paper, and write out the word "character" about fifty times. That way you'll get the correct spelling down. I'm not even going to consider allowing your character until you start to spell it correctly, because it is driving me crazy and it distracts me from the rest of your posts. Which are getting much better.

If you agree to make sense and not deterr from the plot, I'll write you in to my next post and you can join...but only if you get the spelling of character right. I know, it sounds really harsh and mean, but I really, really can't stand that and it makes me less inclined to respect your posts.

Oh, and note. E XK and I are not shipmates,. We're your superior officers, and you shall address us with the respect that goes with that office.
See, the power has kinda gone to our heads...

Oh zavron, IF the captain agrees to let you on board there's one more thing I'd like you to do. I've noticed that when you roleplay you have the tendency for trying to be the best, the smartest and the strongest. I've seen you making other characters behave terribly OOC and I've even seen you hurting other people's characters to attain that. Maybe you're doing that unconciously but it annoys me to no end and it's not fun anymore roleplaying like that. Would you please keep that in mind and not do it in this RPG? Otherwise, I'll ask the captain to throw you in the brig indefinatelly.

Sorry about that. Yes, I did have a nack for that. But not know, you can have me swabbing the decks until sundown and if you find a speck of dirt you can tie me to the prow of the Nal and ride very large waves using me as a (Do they call it a Figurehead? I can't remember.)

I here by take an oath that I will not go crazy with power or ruin the plot lines of this story. Also, I here by swear I will try not to mispell character (Hopefully, I won't be using it much anyway).

Is that good enough

Aye, mate. We've become far too used to this

And as for the character thing, you know it annoys me for I have pointed it out twice. Am grammar and English nerd, so it's really not my fault am so pedantic. Am so glad to see you spelling it right! (I have problems, real problems.)

It is a figurehead I think.

Am glad to hear you're going to try and curb this. But I just wanted to make a point about general roleplay etiquette. I believe in general it is alright to put other people's characters in a dangerous situation as long as you don't seriously damage/kill them. For example a long while back I wrote in that Sicirus was poisoned. No one minded that, because I said that I wasn't going to kill her or anything. But on this note, everyone should remember these characters are us, and we don't want to do anything to anyone elses character they might not like.

So is everyone else too afraid to write what is happening to me on the Emerald Star?

Perhaps when everyone goes ashore in Tortuga to rescue me you can recruit help from the Emerald Star crew, and that would mean afterwards you'd have somewhere to escape to. Take anyone on the crew who'll go though. But know ye this; I won't.

Probably when we reach Tortuga and find a place to write you in. You'll have to be patient a little bit longer. If the captain said she'd write you in, then she'll write you in when she finds a good spot to do so.

Eärniel is right, mate. Captain will no doubt write you in when they dock. She said she will, and so she will, so no amount of impatient foot tapping will get her to do it any quicker. Am not sure where she is at the moment though, so we all have to wait.
