Glaurukatt sounds very nice. I've always been fond of dragons...

Hey, Gwindor's girlfriend gets cozy with HIM. Let's not place ALL the blame on poor, cursed Counturin. Untortured though, as was apparently pointed out to Katt.

Well, yes. Although the Sil does say Turin wasn't aware of it.

Heeheee, I like that. No wonder Counturin left Findukatt to her doom at the sack of Nargothrond, he knew he only had one chance to get out of that relationship!

You bloody well bet it does. Especially now that I'm back and posting.
I'm fairly busy with school and applying to colleges so my posting might be a bit erratic, but I will post, and I will bring DOOM upon my least favorite characters, of whom turin is one.

Good luck with those college apps then. And senior year, come to that.
Hello doom, my old friend. I've come to talk to you again...

C'mon guys, it's been a week (I know, I know, we've had many many longer breaks. But I don't want this to die again)! I don't like doubleposting...
Oh, and you can look up the section in the Silmarillion Project (Ch 22, of Turin Turambar) if you haven't read the Sil... I know it's cheating, but you can

No problem. I always post about 3-5 hours after you do (time change?) and so you probably miss it because it's right when you have to be doing other stuff.

Yeah time change, I'm in Europe. But I get email notifications when somebody posts in this thread, I just stupidly overlooked it this time. Oh well...

Hmmm... as Christiana very accurately points out, we've been calling Finrod King of Nargothrond... and he isn't... in fact he's sort of deadish. What do we do?

No, not really. This Finrod is our TLA-er also better known as Finrollum. If I'm not mistaken he came back from the dead just like Christiana did when impersonating Fingolfin, if I'm not mistaken that is.
EDIT:I just checked in the game thread. I'm not mistaken, he did return, check the end of the Morauthien and Beren chapter.

(guys, could anyone who posted in Nargothrond with Finrod since Counturin got there just change it to Orodreth please? He was made king before the Sillymaril quest, and a lot of this stuff is out of character...and Finrod is ...elsewhere right now, thanks)
