Radagast would be fairly close - because I remember that Gandalf the White first met the threesome of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli on March 1, 3019 (TA) in Fangorn Forest (it was Aragorn's birthday - although he makes no mention of it in the text).

So I'll guess March 1, 3019 - as also the date for the start of Entmoot.

all i could come up with is that it would fall between Feb 26th - March 2nd 3019.

WfM - I think you have to read on in the part of the appendix about Hobbit names - where Tolkien explains how he translated some of them, and what they originally were. Keith K is talking about a portion that relates to this... see the 'On Translation' part of Appendix F - the last few pages of the appendices.
