You'd change your mind REAL quick if you were the KING of Gondor!!

I think the English word you want is 'picky'!

Um, your question is kind of vague, so I'm guessing in the dark, but, maybe, that really long Winter. It had a name, but it just left my brain (sneaky facts- they use the back door and I can't keep track)

No, no, there was a really long winter that hit all of Middle Earth. Gondor suffered really bad, and I think somebody important (like a prince or something) in Rohan died or something.

I think pytt is asking about the Third of the Three Evils. If this helps, the first two were:

1. The Kin-slaying (mid 1400's TA)

2. The Great Plagues (mid 1600's TA)

3. ??

Rosie is correct in that there was a 'Long Winter' distinct from the 'Fell Winter' - and it was that winter when Rohan had unrest and Helm Hammerhand died... but that (and the Fell Winter) were both about 1000 years (give or take) after #3 above.

And I don't think either the Long Winter or the Fell Winter had too much direct impact on Gondor.

Not sure what it's called if it has a name, but was it between Angmar and Arthedain?

It didn't have a name - but it's definitely not between Angmar and Arthedain. And I'm looking for the name of the King that ruled in this war, by the way...

Wasn't it just a that gondorish civil war? And the king was Earnil or Earnur whatever (I can never keep them straight). I'm prob. not right, if I am, I won't be back in a while so you can go without me...

No, not in the civil war. The civil were Castamir was alive - he was the reason for the war, wanted to rule Gondor. His supporters fled to Umbar, IIRC. His son(s) too.

I'm looking for his last descendant. He died in a war.

Rad - are you sure the war had a name? (I didn't look it up yet, just don't recall a name from memory)

I said it didn't have a name. I wanted the name of the King of Gondor, not the war, that in his days the last descendant of Castamir was killed.

You say 'in which war'... Silly boy! We'll have to get you for THAT one!

Which KING then... I'll start by guessing Calimehtar!
