I have decided that when I move into my house, on rainy, stormy nights I'm going to turn all the lights off and just sit beside a window watching the rain.

No one in my house ever lets me do that .

Rain is teh awezomsor.

What is Monk?

Hi, Tessar! Want an espresso? I'm donating an espresso machine to the Teacup Cafe - you could have a cappuchino or a mocha, whatever you like!
Monk is a TV show about an obsessive-compulsive savant-like ex-cop who helps solve crimes in San Francisco with his former colleagues. Google "Monk", check it out!

He observes like Holmes but is too far removed from daily, normal interaction to be favorably compared to him, IMO.

I'll have a mocha, Lotesse.

I love mystery shows! I love Monk!
How about some quotes by Adrian Monk?

"You can't wipe nature with nature!"
"What's with the staple?"
"I'm hungry; is that a crime?"
"I'm just a man who's afraid of everything, and touches telephone poles."

It's on tonight in the U.S.A. from 6-8 if you want to watch it, Tessar. It's also on tomarrow at 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Here you go, Meriadoc - it's a triple, that O.K.? Had to use a Ghirardelli's chocolate bar to make it a mocha, enjoy!

I've seen a few Monk episodes. Damn good show, that. But its not the type of thing I can find myself becoming a constant fan of. Just good for when there isn't much else on. Not my type of show, but it is done well.

I noticed I start to watch a lot of shows during marathons on American holidays...
Happy late 4th of July, everybody!
LTNS! Happy early birthday and I want no cake right now (just had some). So, I take it you watched the 4th of July Twilight Zone marathon, right ?
I had to miss it because I was forced to go to the beach for two whole days.

Hmm, sounds more like the radio show, The Saint, to me. If I remember right, he was a detective who owned a mortuary.

I think I will have a drink known as a "Venti Vanilla Latte" in Starbucks language.

(Yes, there is a such thing.)
*eats a bag of barbecque lays and arizona iced tea from fridge and watches the hobbit too*

Anybody want some chocolate cake with fresh raspberry sauce and creme anglais? Help yourselves, I gotta go make a caramel capucchino. Wish I had time to watch The Hobbit for a minute; still haven't seen the animated Hobbit.

Oh, and trolls' bane, I'll buy one of those chairs from you if you customise it with a pull-out easel and bookshelves built into the back!

I'm sure that wouldn't be too hard (for whoever makes them). You wouldn't have to worry about getting a ticket for speeding with those books.
