Forboding and strange
and then for a change
Merry and light
'most forgotten by might

Claenoic, is it Haldir and his elves ambushing the Fellowship?

Reposting my riddle:

Saviour of the saviour
Defense of the defended
From a great mountain
This great one was lended

No correct guesses for mine..

Carafin, is it elf cities?

It was born in fire
It shall die in flame
Not all of its kinsmen
Shall do the same
Cold and proud
Yet fiery hot
What it is
Men used to know not

Drat. Only noticed the misspelling after I posted it. That should be,

Christiana , right?

Also, are there still too many riddles going for me to post one?

No one has guessed my riddle yet either.
I think these are the ones that currently need to be guessed.

Mine:
Always there
but never staying
Ever steady
always straying

Christiana's:
It was born in fire
It shall die in flame
Not all of its kinsmen
Shall do the same
Cold and proud
Yet fiery hot
What it is
Men used to know not

Mirazhi's:
Saviour of the saviour
Defense of the defended
From a great mountain
This great one was lended

Elf Girl's:
Forboding and strange
and then for a change
Merry and light
'most forgotten by might

Carafin's:
One of gold
One of light
One of water
Yet something binds all together

Nariel's:
They come late at night
With eyes shining bright
Beware, for they leap
When you fall asleep
But vanish at first sign of light

Claenoic's:
Glistening, tinkling, ever dark,
A black cloak over all, but hark!
A gruff voice echoes from the deep,
Arousing rest, awakening sleep.

I don't believe any of these has been correctly guessed at.
