Fun!
Yes, school is seriously getting me down...I get a break for three days next week but I'll be college visiting. ARGH. Earniel, I love your drawing--it looks very much like him. And he's away--lost interest--good riddance. I will try to be inspired and post...sometime. Meh. Tano

Nice piccy And I just got back to school after a two week break, so I guess that might be why I seem the most inspired. Well, even I'm not very inspired as i have writers block at the moment... more enthusiastic? *shrugs*

Concerning Earniel's post in the game thread-
All RIGHT! I get to be the SMART one!

A) Where's Miriam? B) Where's Turgon and Gondola? C) We missed some battles, which of Finwe's grandkids are dead? D) After we finish with this discussion thread, I think it should be placed in the archives.

a) Miriam is, I believe, still with the rest of the TLA, (meaning right before your throne at the moment) although she has been rather silent for a while now. Good that you remind me of her, she'll probably still be pissed at you for dumping her for another Elf in the beginning of the thread. Be prepared.
b) Turgon is probably in already in his own secret city of Gondolin by now. And to my knowledge a gondola is a venetian boat that hasn't featured in the TLA yet. c) We missed battles? I have no idea how many grandkids died, best you'd check with the Silmarillion. d)I think all the TLA-threads are worthy of being archived but the question is whether it will be allowed. Even the grand Silmarillion-project with the chapter-discussions in the Sil-forum was denied entry in the archives, which was quite a bad surprise. We'll see after we do finish here. For the three game threads, there's always the other posibility to put them on the Fanfiction page of the Tolkientrail.

I think we renamed Gondolin, Gondola, and were going to make it a water city, like Venice.

We did? Where? I absolutely remember nothing of that sort, but that may be premature arterioclerosis.
Though I must say... the idea of Gondola the water city is mightily tempting....

so shall we make Turgon king of Gondola the water city?
Tehy can have those mandolin minstrel guys on gondolas and that will be Tuor and Idril's romantic dates.

As for making Gondolin a water city, sure , as far as I'm concerned, it's fine. But we'll see when we get there. Still got Morauthien and Beren to finish first.

Debrief...uh...stuff happened, and we've just met Finrod. Fin-something. Anyway. I'm not really the right person, as I haven't read the Sil all the way though and am just hanging on...
I think you could probably jump in with little trouble, though. You know the ropes. Tano
