Amen.
I'm glad someone agrees w/ me. Disney is a great place. I used to go several times a month. You can go and well, totally just have a great time. Magic Kingdom is, hands down, my favorite. Anyone can go and just be a kid, or at least reminisce about being one. Of, course it helps to be a Disney fan. And when I say that I mean Walt Disney, the one and only; not this modern disney garbage. Oh, and one thing You can NOT diss Mickey Mouse.

JD have you been to the Grand Floridian, its B..E.. A..utiful. Of course all the resorts are nice but this is the best. And their restaurants are wonderful. Have you eaten in Cinderella's castle at the Magic Kingdom? It's an actual castle, very fun.

Oh, and yes there are tourists but thats why you go during the off season.

Yeah - I had stayed at the Grand Floridian with my parents when it first opened. It was beautiful and is one of my favorite resorts hotels, but I like the EPCOT location better. Our balcony at the Grand Floridian looked out to the Magic Kingdom - so we could just sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks over Cinderella's Castle (the travel brochures show the same exact view we had of the fireworks). And I have eaten in Cinderella's castle too. Also - as you said it's an actual castle, unlike Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Disneyland. Walt Disney had built his apartments in the upper towers - but he died before Walt Disney World was complete - so they have never been used.

Gwaimir Windgem: At the time I lived in Indiana - so I wouldn't consider it exactly home (Indiana that is).

I didn't know that. That's pretty cool. It would be great if they could rent it out like a hotel. But you'd probably have to set reservations years in advance.

Love the site man! I think he is way to, how should I put this... frail. So he looked good as an Elf with blonde hair. He should have stopped there.

He can't act! He has exactly the same expression (puppy face) in every movie. And it is annoying to see in how many movies he plays nowadays.

That's why he acts in so many movies.

I'm going to Orlando this summer. My family got a timeshare down there. I've been to Disney World (it's all about EPCOT and Typhoon Lagoon), but never to the Universal Studies that we'll be seeing this time. I'll tell you all how that goes.

But hate? Hate??

I mean, you can think his acting is boring/annoying/whatever, but why would you hate him? You don't know him personally... he has not personally destroyed your family or your life...

He's just an actor, who cares? Leave the poor guy alone.

Did you like him as Legolas?

I personally thought he was perfect for the role and did an awesome job. I respect him as an actor. He's a LOT better than many out there, imo.

*hand waggles* (I stole that from Wayfarer.)

I thought he was okay as Legolas. His best role that I've seen him in, IMO, is Will Turner. He's certainly not the worst actor ever, but he's not on my favourites list either, so meh.

I just don't think people should say they hate a famous person just because they don't like their acting/music/etc.

IMO OB nailed the part given him, I don't think PJ had planned for Leggy to be anything more than an interesting support character. Which is really my complaint about the entire trilogy (PJ's), which is that the character development took a sock so we could get lots of gratuitous "one tear from the eye while giving puppy-dog looks" scenes. Sorry, I digress.

Leggy gave his silent stares and quick haughty lines under PJ's gaze so I blame him (PJ), not PJ for the Movie version of Leggy.

That being said, I'm grateful that the movies were made at all and do love them....just want more more more of the story....I need the 36 hour version of LOTR, LOL

It's the only way to balance the universe. Overly cute-crazed fangirls make a big and strong power for Orli-haters to counteract.

I feel kind of bad for him though. With Legolas being his "breakthrough character," he probably caught his doom, typcast for the rest of his acting career as a feminine, creepy-voiced, fancy-pants. A shame, maybe. The world may never know...

I don't feel the slightest bit bad for him - he never needs another role! The legions of fangirls though, that's a reason to offer sympathy.

no, not hate but disliking very much. maybe he is better than many, but even I are better than lots of people I don't like him. for me it is like they have him in the film just so that a lot of silly teenie-bopper-girls go and see the movie. and that I think is wrong...
