Hi all mooters - now Ive put in the photos of my excursions on town, that is, the Core, the Church of St Mary and the Old City Courthouse, and the pics of Gothenburg III, pics from my biking trip to the villages of Domsten and Viken and from visits to the Krapperup Castle garden with Mum and later on with the Photo Club, on my home page under My Photos.

Today I learned all about the biology of the brain... I didn't like it, though it's fascinating that a process that needs 2 hours to be described only minimally takes place and less than a milisecond.
But I can tell you now that it is because of my hippotalus that I felt hungry earlier and because of my angnemia I have feelings. Interesting huh?
Say, have you been talking about why do you feel strong feelings in heart? I mean, when I feel depressed, my heart feels cold. And then again, for example seeing that rivendellish tree brought warmth to my heart.

Great photos!
I particularly like the flowers - both the lovely roses and the others!
And a few interesting photos of the moot as well - the moat, I mean

Hey I'm back for now, (you didn't notice I was gone did you ) I'm all settled at college and loving life right now. I'm really enjoying my classes (even the studying) and making lots of new friends! I started to miss mooting though, so thought I'd come back, for a little while at least.

Hiya Tfan! Of course we missed you!
I'm missing a lot of people at the moment. Though I suppose I'm not around as much as I used to either.
Speaking of which: I should get back to reading chapter 2: Biopsychology...
I hate biology. There's a reason I didn't take that class in secondary school >_< Still, it's fascinating.
Hmmm, that's a bit contradictory.

Nel, I don't know
However since there is such a thing as emotional memory which remembers what you felt the first time (or most impressive time) when you encountered a certain situation, you might assume that you will feel the same sort of thing the second time if it's a similar situation. that might explain why one thing always manages to cheer you up, while some other situation always manages to get you down.
Maybe. Just hypothesizing here.

How is everything at work? Co-workers still driving you crazy? Or have you driven them crazy instead?
Haha.. Mari, you remind me of my boyfriend. He like to sit there and say all technical things like that too. Only it's like... muscles and nerves and things instead of brain glands.

He once told me that I should go look up "Greater Omentum" in Google images. This is what I get:

... I was going to post it here, but I'll just give the URL so you don't have to throw up if you don't want to. It's mostly just a bunch of tangled up fat that sits in front of your intestines. It's why your tummy feels squishy.

Greater Omentum... ish. It's a cat's.

Anyway. I digress. I'm going back to work now.

Uhmmm, Midge? I think I'll pass, but thank you.
I'm not very good with things that are supposed to be invisible inside my body. I hate having to look at those brain pictures. They look all squishy and gooey >_<

Tfan, I know what you mean >_< which is probably a first in my life... I've never been so busy with school before in my life. Except for when I was writing my thesis, but that was a different kind.

Speaking of thesis: I'm receiving my diploma Thursday the 18th at 16.45 my time

I didn't figure a whole bunch of people would want to look at it. I didn't want to look at it, really, but when I was instructed to look it up on Google, I didn't know what it was. So, I did what I was told, unwittingly.

It's official! I'm a computer sciences major now. I now have the right to sit and stare at a computer for hours on end. woo hoo! I've gone to "the dark side"...

Am I still welcome in on the Teacup or have I been away too much? I like the comments posted here. Everyone has a great sense of humor. It feels like I have something in common with people.

Thank you, kind Wolf Sire!

I just heard a quote from my husband about Gandalf. It's just so funny I have to share it!!!

Gandalf: "Hail Denethor, Son of Ecthelion, Lord and Steward of Gondor!!! I come with cookies in this dark hour, and with donuts!"

Denethor: "Perhaps you've come to explain this ... perhaps you've come to tell me why cookies are moldy!"

LOL!!!!! The emoticons have been rearranged!

Oh, my. Hi all. Everyone in perfect shape around here? It's been quite a long time since I last had time to drop by, the harsh but beautiful norwegian nature don't allow coffe breaks left and right, with icebears in the streets and such.

Amael you're most welcome! The quote - was that by any chance Lyrd inspired?

Pytt - another Norwegian here?
I'm quite new, while you've been around (or not so much around) for quite a while, I see.
I find it to be a good place ...
