So that's the latest common name, eh? They change names as much as plant phylums do.
*cough* Magnoliophyta *cough*

My new boss at the Living Desert said that once, when he was a chef, someone went around and emptied an entire case of whipped cream, only he left the whipped cream. You can draw your own conclusions as to where the propellant went.

Um... I can't even memorize the different phyla used in my biology book, much less know whats in them. Except for Kingdom Fungi Phylum Myxomycota which contains slime molds. *wonders why I can only remember that*

Oh, there's laughing gas in the spray whipped cream? I didn't know that. Does that mean I'm not supposed to squirt it directly into my mouth? Oops.

Neither can I. The phyla of the Kingdom Plantae that deals with most plants (as we would think of plants in the normal sense of the word) is Magnoliophyta, a name which dismays many botanists because it used to be called something more appropriate rather than just being named about the oldest species of tree: the Magnolia.

Um...well, I suppose it's not the best idea in the world. What did you think they used, freon?

I never really thought about it. You've never squirted whipped cream directly into your mouth?

Not that I can remember. But probably.

That reminds me, I brought in these wonderful dates from Shields Date Garden. Anyone want a date shake?

Actually, you might try posting your thoughts on some more serious subject matter...we don't spend all our time welcoming eachother, after all.

Yes. That is exactly the interpretation I was hoping to avoid.

If you squirt canned whipped cream directly in your mouth, you can get a quick head rush from the nitrous gas which is used in that kind of whipped cream. Seriously! You guys should try it sometime; although, I don't recommend making a habit of the ol' whipped-cream-directly-in-mouth idea, 'cause it probably really murderlizes a lot of brain cells.

My boyfriend, who hates all drugs, even aspirin, (so it's not about the head rush) is one of those guys who loves to drink out of the milk or orange juice carton & put it back in the fridge - he loves to squirt whipped cream directly in his mouth. I caught him doing it once and gave him all kinds of grief for doing it, but he just laughed at me. i don't care anyway; he's the one who likes canned whip, not me. I like it handmade. I hate canned whipped cream.

Oh, Trolls' Bane? I'll take a shaky date! If you're dishing out dates tonight, that is.

Err, yes, that was what I was referring to.
Well, I don't suppose I ought to. I'll take your word for it.

Gack! Don't let him in my house!

Here's a date. *gives a shaky date shake to Lotesse*
Hey, that's true! These are dates from the San Andread Fault! *gong*

Oh, pshaw! Hector's always tugging at his tie and getting a little nervous about something or other; he's one a them neurotic conductor-composer types. Always both a little nervous about something, and demanding that the lesser classes pay him the obeisant respect he feels he deserves! Bloody composers, man, strange lot, but they do enrich the world with their musical genius, so...

*pushes can of whipped cream on hector*
I hear it makes you relax.

*makes self some creosote tea*
Anyone else want creosote tea? It will make you live longer, but it tastes rather...earthy.

Thanks for the date, bello, we should do this more often - a date with you is a good time indeed! And OH - speaking of San Andreas and stuff, guess what? Last ni - no, real early this morning there was an earthquake!! And the weird thing is, get this - just yesterday afternoon, when I was working on a car, the thought came to me out of the blue, I was thinking to myself, "you know, there hasn't been an earthquake for a long time. I bet we're due for one any time now. It's earthquake time." And wouldn't you know it, later on that night/this early morn, we had one! I am so psychic you guys.
