Melfena: how are you feeling? No sudden urges to talk to yourself or go to the cinema alone and book TWO tickets???

* ... just curious .. no reason at all for asking

Do i look concerned? Do I? Well, your imagining it - take some more pills! *
Hmm, i haven't been talking to myself anymore than usual, but i have noticed that my LDD is becoming worse , mabye it's all in my head though *takes more pills*

Rian, i calculate at your average posts per day you will suffer the dreaded JD syndrome in either 83 or 84 days

... the clock is ticking.

Melfena, your post-pulse is steadying, but we do not have calculators yet large enough to work out when you will suffer from this dreaded disease

Congrats to Pytt who crossed the deadly barrier of 1,000 without even a headache. Also to Lotesse for the same feat.

Rian: any update yet on the scope or direction of your 10,000th? (oh oh, here we go again ... )

PS Greywolf liked the Moot dollar!

Melfena:

Good to see you are on the road to recovery : your post pulse is now 97!

* hand shakes all round for Doc's Butterbeer, Anduril and grey Wolf ... puts the chilled champagne on hold for the big 100!*

regarding some of my recent moot experiences:

I have been struggling with limited PM space! and i keep getting distracted from what i was about to post or do, because pm's arrive and then i reply to them and forget what it was i was going to post ...

anyone else had this experience?

by the way an interesting thing i have just been told, which was very worth knowing , that you can have unlimited correspondence to and from Mods ... however, won't that still clog up your PM box for anyone else who doesn't have unlimited messages?

So you could still send and receive to a mod but to no one else as it would be full, thus would you not still have the same problem of having to purge them all the time?

It's been a funny old week here on the Moot, right enough. But thanks to Earniel for giving the nazgul rpg a chance, and also to Valandil for posting such a good description and opening post!

I look forward to seeing you there Melfena.

I can say no more! I'm too tired

best all
BB

No, I thought JD syndrome was marathon in-depth posting disorder, also known as M.I.N.P.D. - boy howdy, do I ever suffer from this lately

From what I read here, JD is a syndrome I do not suffer from having taken 5 years to accumulate 600+ posts.... The last 200 of them are dedicated to my friend Lotesse.

...er... dunno ... sorry what was the question?

I think i was referiing to something else?

well. jd syndrome was the whole 10,000th post thing where he waited ages to post. it became a cult syndrome thing???

both EB and myself suffered from it as both a homage and a game when we both were on 499!

this thread is also about various experiences people have had on the moot ...

however because this is now a touchy subject (re JD) .. i was trying to stop any posts about it if possible... cus' i would get it in the never regions

and i was having a touchy misunderstanding with someone at that point (all cleared up now though! ) and perhaps mis-interpreted a couple of posts...

hope that helps rohirrim TR!

*here! have a beer!*

This should be my 100th post, and i feel an obligation to post it here, since this is the thread that helped me get over my phobia of posting so i wanted to thank Dr. Butterbeer, Dr. Anduril, and Dr. Grey Wolf *hugs for butterbeer anduril and grey wolf * Also if it wasn't for the help I recived I may have droped my psycology class because I have to post at a message board. Thank you once again .
