Thanks, Afro-elf. I would suppose that anyone from a western culture would be under suspicion to some extent, but to a US citizen and be there when war broke out, well, that would be a whole other ballgame.
For example, my school is doing summer outreaches to Tibet, and two years ago, we sent a team to Cuba. Only Canadian students were allowed to go. No Americans, please. Too much trouble w/ customs.
Heh, what can I say? We're too aggressive to be welcomed everywhere. But we deal, right? I mean, someone has to keep the world from crashing down around our ears.

I didnt' mean the problem just within the boundaries of the country of Israel. I mean the enmity between the Jewish people and the Arab people. I believe it started with the birth of Ishmael and then the birth of Isaac.

Did you hear that that Sadam Hussan Guy (i know i spelt it wrong)
is offering $1000 dollars to each of the families of the suicide bombers? That will just increase the amount of suicide bombers imo.

Or they might start sending little kids public places with bombs on them rigged to explode. That would be sick....
There have been bombings there almost everyday. That really stinks. My temple has canceled their annual trip to Israel. Too dangerous. I mean I keep thinking of that hotel. That bomber blew up the cedar at the hotel. If we had been visiting then, we would have been there. They changed it to somewhere else.... but I don't know (too lazy to look up) how to spell the name of the country, so I won't embarrass myself further

My cousin's temple, which is conservative, I think has or will cancel their trip to Israel. It doesn't look like it will get better any time soon.

It doesn't look like Israël isn't the only place where things are getting worse. Yesterday a mob of Palestinians wreaked havoc in Antwerp (second biggest city in Belgium, 10 km from where I live)They destroyed cars and looted shops. What's the bloody use?

Yes I'm sure they're Palestinians. It started out as an demonstration against the Israeli policy but they lost control. The fact that Antwerp harbours a lot of Jewish juwelers might have something to do with it. I don't really know. I don't think they wanted to destroy just jewish property but they damaged a some shops regardless who held them. Whatever they tried to accomplish with that escapes me.
