Next Friday I'm going to Stockholm to see them.. *dances*
I'm sorry that you aren't able to come too, Pytt. Hopefully they'll tour again later, so you can go then.

Weekend! And we have lots and lots of toad tadpoles in the pond! First time ever! (Hopefully not the German explosive kind *shudder*)
Sorry you can't go, Pytt, I wouldn't have been able to if they hadn't been come to a hall just around the corner, so to speak. Oh, and I have just bumped the old Queen thread in the Entertainment forum so Nerdy can tell us all how it went.

I am improving, as a fencer (swordsman). Our group lost in the last competition, but in a little over a month the next one is coming, so our instructor is driving us like never before. I really feel now as though I am improving, and I am most satisfied with this.
Wish us luck with the next competition . ~Lief

I've not fenced since college where I was in the top percentile. Now I am forced to use my two Japanese swords to run routines. Its' another way to lose weight and maintain a connection with the art.

Got a nice look at Saturn thru my telescope last night. Saturn always makes me laugh, it looks so funny! And Jupiter has its moons in a nice little arrangement.

Give him a clap on the back from me, Rian . That's great! I hope he does well at the next comp.
I'm happy because I'm starting to pick up some of the upper vocal range for a Bass--that's a really good thing, because in chuch music, and in solos, you absolutely MUST have that upper range or you can't sing them. Also with the chant music I've been doing at the second Sunday choir I sing in, the melody always seems to hover near the top of my current range. If I can pick up some more notes that'll really help. |

Thanks, Tessar!
And good luck with your additional notes! Your post made me want to go back to the Wish thread and make another wish - that I could sing! I can carry a tune, but can't really sing Ah well, I'll just appreciate those who can

I'm happy because 1) i've seen Queen perform and 2) spring is here.. and there are places even in this filthy city where the only sounds come from singing birds and the wind.
