Hi Sas, welcome back

Katya, thanks. It worked out okay, though it was pretty scary. Now the sun is actually breaking through here as well.

"And we're back at M.O.O.T. 102,2 with the Moots playing CCR's Proud Mary..."

Left a good job in the city,
Workin' for the moot ev'ry night and day,
And I never lost one minute of sleepin',
Worryin' 'bout the way things might have been.

Chorus:
Big wheel keep on turnin',
Proud Herbert keep on burnin',
Postin', postin', postin' on the Moot.

Typed a lot of posts in General,
Threaded a lot of types down in Entertainment,
But i never saw the good side of the Teacup.

Chorus

Postin', postin', postin' on the Moot.

If you come in on the Moot,
Bet you gonna find some people who live.
You don't have to worry 'cause you have no money,
People in the Moot are happy to give.

Chorus

Postin', postin', postin' on the Moot.
Postin', postin', postin' on the Moot.
Postin', postin', postin' on the Moot.

Ghost weather? As in "'twas a dark and stormy night"?

Glad to see you back, Sas! *pounces*

We live in an area that has no tornados or earthquakes, little snow, and a bit of leftover wind and rain from hurricanes every decade or so.

That's why a tornado watch is so weird.

Well, I live in an area that gets tornadoes weekly. Tornado watches rarely amount to anything.

Usually.

Ooooh! Now I get it! When I read Sis' comment the first time, I read that she was expecting tomatoes so I absolutely didn't get why the end of times were supposed to be coming... >_<
I was tired, if that is allowed to be an excuse

Acally, ghost weather as in lightning constantly and not just white or yellowish, but also pinkish ones. The skies were grey pinkish and it just looks like there are ghosts floating around. I'd seen it only once before.

As do I. At least recently. I got one too close for comfort in April. Touched down about a mile from my house. Luckily, it went the other direction and no one was killed.

No! Go away! I don't want Saharan influences! I want to be able to wear my jeans! I won't get my new shorter pants until my birthday...
Besides, it's going to result in heavy thunderstorms. Again. I just know it.

In Norway? Funny, it's pretty cool in SoCal; high temperature today is 76F.

Not exactly what you expect, is it, hot weather in Norway and cool in SoCal.

I respectfully disagree.

Then again, I'm the kind of person, when the earth is finally engulfed by the expanding, helium-cored sun, who would say it's a "dry spell" or a "heat wave."

But I have no doubt I will live into my thousands (yeah...genetic treatments again...) and see not an iota more of the end of times than I do now.

EDIT: Excuse me? Since when do smilies count as images?

The end end times aren't coming, just an end to a chapter of this age. It's probably not even close to the end of the age yet either. There's still a lot more smiles and frowns to be had before this age ends.

I'm just reading a text on the Day of Judgment. Or Revelation Day. Or just on Revelation. Whatever you want to call it.
It's this one:

Oh, Good Lord. What crap.

First of all, Sontag gives me the pip.

Second, this review of millenial movements couldn't POSSIBLY be more culturally restricted and Eurocentric...it doesn't even address North American millenial movements, (except a brief and inaccurate discussion of the Millerite movement) much less those ideas as they're expressed in other cultures and traditions. So to be drawing grandiose "conclusions" about Islamic fundamentalism and apocalyptic movements... poppycock.

Hehe. It can still be interesting. I never thought of it, so bad articles can be the beginning of something good as well
Learning comes from so many things. I like learning new things.

That aside: GOOD MORNING SIS~!
How are you this lovely day?

Well let's be fair, North American (Western) civilization as it stands today is only a few hundred years old. Inevitably the focus will lie further east where everything happened!
