I couldnt believe what he was telling his kids, I would have disobeyed him too. I would have been so confused about God at their age.
I had no Idea what that film was about when I rented it. And It turned out to be one of the best ones Ive seen in that time period. [Before I had joined the moot]

We watched Schindler's list at school today. May start a thread about it, if there isn't one already. Brilliant movie.

Dumb and Dumberererer...etc Pretty good movie. Not something I'd watch over, and over, and over like the first one, but the actors did a good younger "them".

I also watched ""Road to Perdition" which was pretty good, although there wasn't really any moral.

Gosh, I don't agree. I felt it was very much a modern morality tale: the importance of honor, loyalty, trust. Tom Hanks's character, while leading a life of criminal behaviour, maintained a personal moral code that he was willing to uphold even though it meant great sacrifices. His son recognizes his father's mistakes, and sees how his father is willing to accept the consequences for his poor choices, learning to respect the 'man' while he continues to love the 'father'.

I just watched a wonderful French film called Amelie. And BoP can't say it was overrated too, at least for Australia. Because though it had much critical acclaim, it wasn't hyped much at all. This movie is fantastic- hilarious, sad...perfect. My new favourite film.

'Tis! My cousin and I agreed that you couldn't watch Amelie and not be smiling at the end. (In my case, grinning my head off). Now I've got money I'm going to buy the DVD and watch it over..and over...I think it's the funniest movie I've ever seen.

oh, of course. I will have to rent it again. I haven't seen it in a very long time. I'm happy for the subtitles, my french really is bad, and they help.

We saw the Lewis and Clark expedition (National geographic) at the IMAX theater. It was very nice, not overly Hollywoodish. I wish I'd seen the Grand Canyon one!

You just wanted to see all the hot women in it. It was a good movie. It's not going to win any Academy Awards, but just on the basis of entertainment, I liked it. The soundtrack was awesome.
