I miss Ruinel.
Coney, are you still lurking? (He was some months ago.) He was entertaining. }}echoechoecho{{

I miss my old habit of talking like gollum, and posting TB questions to be closed the next day, and disappearing for months and coming back and posting like mad, and sending PMs to gullible(sp?) newbies asking if they wanted to help me make up questions for my weekly trivia, and posting in the Tolkein forums, and the old smilies, and the blank space where the evil smilie occupies, and the Fall of Numenor RPG *looks at valandil, beor, rosie and other members of it*, and never forgetting my password, and Ruinel, and someone else I can't seem to remember, and the old feuds in my pet rats thread, and me actually posting without proper grammmar ( ), and the days I actually went to the Tolkein Trail rather than just coming here automatically, and that Seige of Valinor RPG that I just had to give up on because of so many other RPGs, and quite a few things more...
*gasps* that's the longest sentence I ever wrote.

I miss the days when most of the seattle mooters still went to the same school and we would all come online at lunch using the crappy school laptops... Now everyone except me and Katt have gone college bound... It's just not the same.

LOL TB! Are you saying I'm a gullible newbie?
I think it's easier to allow spam threads on a smaller board. We'd probably crash or something if there was free reign now...

“What does the term american refers to” asked the boy, and the wise man answered: “Lets look at the dictionary then.” As an adjective American is: 1. Of or relating to the United States of America or its people, language, or culture. 2. Of or relating to North or South America, the West Indies, or the Western Hemisphere. As a noun American is: A native or inhabitant of America. A citizen of the United States. Then the boy asked, “What is America then?”, and the wise man looked at the dictionary again: 1. The United States. 2. also the A·mer·i·cas. The landmasses and islands of North America, Central America, and South America. Confused, the boy asked, “Does the term american refers solely to a us citizen or to any person in North, Central or South America?” The wise man replied: “What do you think?”, and the boy answered: “It is clear to me that while the term american is used to refers to us citizens, one can also use it to refer to any person who is from that continent too,” the boy thought for a while and asked the wise man, “Am I right?”, and he replied: “But of course.” The boy wondered, why is it that some people refuse to acknowledge the fact that the term american refers not only to US citizens but to anyone of the American continent?, but then sadly, the boy understood, that it is the calamity of ignorance. |

This thread actually brought tears to my eyes. I'm getting very funny looks from the people around me.
It's my own fault I suppose because I spent far too much time on the I Made A Song Thread with Arathorn and my best mate EXK, and flirted way too much with Anduril. I still email them when the notion hits me.
