My favorite LotR villain is Gollum.
So ...... First I'd ask how he got there. "There aren't a bunch of orcs or anything coming after you, are there, Golly?" If there were I'd hide Gollum so he had a chance of not being found by the orcs (wouldn't free him because I wouldn't have time to keep an eye on him), then RUN! If Gollum really was alone I'd free him, but I would be careful because I like my fingers, thank you very much. At first I would keep him in the house and eventually he'd get rehabilitated somewhat. If I were very successful, I might even start my own business! ("One Ring Rehab Center, how may I help you?") and then I'd go visit all my friends, introducing Gollum to them as "my long-lost cousin's mother-in-law's brother's son's wife's aunt's doctor's daughter's father-in-law's nephew."  |

im not sure that is a relative.
neway, i luv Gollum! its not his fault that he just happened 2 c the Ring. wat if Bilbo woulda had 2 kill Gollum 4 the Ring? he mite have done the same thing that Smeagol did 2 his friend Deagol. bad guy: umm... the evil cat in the Book of Lost Tales 2. u know, the 1 who keeps Bereb prisoner and tries 2 kill Huan? wat id do: let a kangaroo kickbox him til hes almost dead, then throw him off a cliff. (Huan rox) bad guy:Saruman wat id do: throw his robe of many colors in the dirt, make him stare in2 the Palantir, and then take his staff and make him go all over the place til he "accidently" goes 2 the top of Orthanc and i lose interest and let him fall all the way down! (hehe funny pic in my mind now)

I love Gollum too!!!! I played him once in a drama exam. I had to wear an ugly green cat suit type thing and crawl about hissing "My Precious!" it was so funny. I have it on video and got it out after I first saw FOTR- It was brilliant fun. I still know my lines and have a tendancy to launch into them when I've had a few too many down the pub! Fave bad guy though is Sarumon! Tied up in the room? Probably leave him to a few angry hobbits with a couple of sticks. Mx

I would have to go with the traditional bad guy and pick Sauron.... and my evil plan is to squash lots of rotten tomatoes onto the pointy bits on his helmet and let him walk around M.E. with them on until they turn completely mouldy and disgusting...

A while ago there was a post involving covering the 1 ring in marite and tying up gollum so the only was he can get the rings it to put it in his mouth. That's an OK idear but I'd cover it with mashed up mitral insted, or myebe wrap it up in leaves from lothlorian
