It isn't that good but i am proud of it, as a first attempt:

From the blackness
Comes light
From light comes evil
Fight fire with fire
Only dragons are more feared

Elf girl, is yours Old man Willow?
That is just a guess and it is the first thing that came into my head reading your riddle.
