About this riddle, could the answer be Culumalda - a tree with red-golden leaves that grows in North-Ithilien, especially in the woods around the Field of Cormallen. It probably grew on Cair Andros, too.

Really? Well, that's nice. This way people who want to write riddles can do it without having to answer one before, and people who just like solving riddles can do this without the obligation to come up with a new one. I think I'll be the guessing part for now, until I can come up with a riddle that wouldn't be so ridiculously easy.
