*blows dust off account*
Whatcha know, it still works. I could do with a a cup of tea. So busy lately. Had to learn two new computer programmes in a hurry. And now I really should be starting on getting the yearly accounts sorted. *groan* The gift certificates have been kicking my ass a lot lately. Although I think that for the first time in ten years the head office finally learned how to invoice them correctly! So yeay! I think I'm not suited for all this adulting after all. Is it too late to turn this stuff back? How are you all settling in Wyoming, Val? |

I just sent out the invitations to my 30th birthday. No turning back the clock, I'm afraid, Earn.
Though to be honest, I really wouldn't want to be back in my teens... *shudders*

Speaking of ten years ago (and more, really), I'm binge-watching Fuller House tonight!

Homework ... Vs just work... I'll take work any day. I get paid for doing it, after all.

Money is good, true, but I would honestly rather have time. I wouldn't switch back to homework, though, because that just means I would have paid money to do it.
I never have enough time with my Mr. B, though, and less when I go to an 9-hr-a-day job.

looool Midge, you managed to work out why the answer was staring you in the face then? Haha, and it had nothing to do with melons either! Must confess that made me laugh However since you and Val are now both claiming you "answered" it.. i suspect you haven't yet worked it out
The answer was staring you in the face all the time as i'd already given it *whistles* ! I wonder as i wander... (or is it i wander, as i wonder)? Hi Acalewia, i'm good thanks, how are things with you? |

If you really want the post, you can do it. But you'll have to follow the rules of the game (see its first post) and you'll have to keep on top of solve attempts.

So I just realized that I mostly associate you all with your avatars.
Like I'm pretty sure Mari is an anime-style Japanese teacher, and Sane is just plain scary and Earn lives in a pond. Oh, and SGH was DEFINITELY a cat. Then, of course, reality settles back over me, and I realize that's probably not all true, but geez, it makes me feel like my friends are REALLY cool. P.S. Earn, are you sure you don't have some special reptile/amphibian super-power?

Many, many years ago to the tune of a decade ago, we had a thread called "How Do You Envision the Mooters" that dealt with exactly what you just said.
That was a fun, silly thread. I'm pretty sure the links in the official picture thread are mostly broken now.

Midge, if you image the Japanese styled teacher with a bloody sword in her hands, you're pretty much on the money

I mean, no. I do have a sensitive skin and all and fungal infections are the enemy (killkillkill) but that's hardly a super-power. And the lifeguards at the public pool don't like it when I try to see if I can breathe under water so we'll never know... Quote:
