French fries anyone? *munches* Random food fact: There are different reasons why french fries are called french fries: becasue they are 'frenched', which is just a fancy term for cutting into thinish strips; the American soldiers in Belegium in WWII were served what was called pom frites (or however you spell it) by French-speaking peoples and weren't sure what to call them so they just called them french fries... and some other reasons that I can't remember right now...

I haven't been here I long time... I see things about pizza and a birthday for Beor? Sweet! I guess I still (in my time zone) have 7 minutes left in which to say happy birthday!!!
Other than that... I was just thinking. There was this rule in another board where a thread couldn't be more than 1000 posts or so. And I happened to get the 1001st post in. No one said anything, they just closed it anyway. But I was wondering if I was bad for not reading the rules. And I thought "rules tend to be about the same everywhere. No flaming, spamming, etc." and I thought to myself "I'm not a flamer." And I stopped, thought about that, wondered why I hadn't thought that before. |

except you have to call them fries if you happen to go to McDonalds, which i will never do, especially after what was found in their mayonnaise not to mention their decimation of brazilian rainforest to feed their cows on, and the fact that you are not sure the burger you are getting is cow or rat meat (but then i am vegetarian so that does not really affect me) plus the fact that their one vegetarian option is rancid [/anti McD rant] |
