Which actor was in Monk?
My friends saw Prada and said it was good/funny.

There's a cartoon and an A&E movie. I've seen the movie, though it's been awhile...I remember it was good.

I saw the cartoon a looooooooong time ago. All I really remember are a few sequences, like the pigs dictating the rules of the farm.

We just watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean (curse of the black pearl). It was a fun movie. We want to see the current one so figured we'd better see the first before going to the current one.

I saw Monster House a few days ago; it was pretty good.

You know, way back in the day, they made good kid's movies. Then they started to go down the drain, but now they are on the rise again. Prospects are hopeful.

I was on a bus trip, and we watched Hitch on the way there, Shrek 2 on the way back.

Hitch was okay, I guess...I loved the scene where Albert's showing off his dance moves. Key line: "Don't ever do that again."

Shrek 2, some pretty funny parts. I loved the LOTR references and the Honey, I Blew Up the Baby spoof. Antonio Banderas was great as Puss in Boots.

Movies you've just seen III

I've just seen the drama Bloody Sunday about the day that British troops opened fire upon civil rights protesters in Northern Ireland in January 1972. The combat scenes were powerful. A horrible but very good drama. I wouldn't know really but I got the feeling that the film depicted the events of "Bloody Sunday" quite well.

I really like U2's song "Sunday Bloody Sunday". It's played during the credits.

Coincidently, today happens to be the first anniversary of IRA's announcement that their armed campaign is over.
