UPDATE on the cat: Still alive, and not in bad of shape as we thought. She has a broken leg, but otherwise seems to be normal. Not sure what we're going to do with her. We certainly don't have money for a veterinarian, though one of my older sisters is a Vet. Asst., and she might be able to patch the cat's leg up. We decided to wait to get her opinion, since the cat is not in any apparent pain (she even walks around when we're not looking).

Tell me more about this cat... My cat survived a coyote attack leading to a shattered leg, then a whole week in the desert mid-summer without water WITH the bad leg.
Somehow managed a full recovery. Quote:
Not bad.

"And we're back on M.O.O.T. 102,2 with the Moot Marching Band playing this version of Rule Brittania especially composed in celebration of the 10 Anniversary of Entmoot, the pinacle of forums on the net..."
When Entmoot first, at heaven's command, Arose from out the internet, Arose, arose, arose from out the internet, This was the charter, the charter of the net And guardian admins sung this strain: (Chorus)Rule Entmoot! Entmoot rules internet Mooters never, never, never will fret. The forums, not so blest as thee, Must in their turn, to tyrants fall, Must in their turn, must in their turn, to tyrants fall, While thou shalt flourish, shalt flourish great and free, The dread and envy of them all. (Chorus) Still more majestic shalt thou rise, More dreadful, from each spammer stroke, More dreadful, more dreadful from each spammer stroke As the loud blast that tears the skies, Serves but to root thy native oak. (Chorus) Thee haughty tyrants ne'er shall tame; All their attempts to bend thee down, All their attempts, all their attempts to bend thee down, Will but arouse thy generous flame, But work their woe and thy renown. (Chorus) To thee belongs the threading reign, Thy threads with commerce shine Thy threads shall, thy thread shall with commerce shine All thine shall be the subject main, And every word it circles thine. (Chorus) The Mooter, still with freedom found, Shall to thy happy subforums repair, Shall to thy happy subforums, thy happy subforums repair, Blest Moot! with matchless beauty crowned, And manly hearts to guard the fair. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4aWXP97hEQ Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 09-19-2009 at 06:44 PM. |

Anyone know a proper, free music creating program for WinXP? I'm getting rather annoyed by the difficulty of finding one...

While one Teacup Cafe may not see the next morn, another is about to be born.
And while many sleep to wake, the last day's wounds mend, I sleep without fear that I shall ever wake again... Just a poem, came up with it on the run. It only implies something if you think it does. We mustn't take literature too seriously now, should we? eh, yea

I likes it. Though in my case the 'ever' should have an n in front of it
Who's going to do the honours?

So, all my stuff for college arrived yesterday, and I've been looking throught it...
1750 words is not enough for an assignment! 1750 words isn't enough to say anything in. I love the course material. I'm just going to find maximum wordcounts incredibly hard to stick to. I like to ramble on, and explore side issues and interesting tangents that the original topics lead me to, and go into as much detail as I like about the main points. I don't think I know how to be that concise. ...eep.

Perhaps you should try to allow yourself the details about the main points, but try to avoid the side issues.
Best of luck! It's great that you got this opportunity!

I'm usually very concise and have trouble filling more than 3 pages. We usually get a minimum and a maximum by the way.
Starting college is great! What will you study? Oh and if no one else is going to do it, I guess I will. See you guys in the next Teacup!
